Version 2.30
Fixed an issue where I was trying to set a Bool for Papyrus Extender support on the wrong alias (thanks once again to Fuzzles!).
Skyshards will no longer spawn more than 128 units above the boss they dropped from, even for extremely large actors. (As cool as it was to have Skyshards actually in the sky!)
Further improved some of the Boss Skyshard logic & cleanup, particularly when encountering the boss of a new location whilst a Skyshard from the old one was unclaimed and still loaded/attached.
MCM toggle option for having Splinters assemble a Skyshard or Skyshard (Epic) has been reworded for improved clarity.
Reworked skill advancement due to the vanilla functions being horrifically broken under some circumstances. Skyshards now grant precisely one level's worth of experience regardless of any modifiers to experience gain. This fix requires SKSE. Non-SKSE users are stuck with the original method and should try to keep their experience rates close to base/vanilla values. Thanks to urbon for prompting me to revisit & improve this :)
Version 2.22
Further improved some of the logic for Bosses who can drop Skyshards. Also fixed an issue where their Alias was getting cleared too early in some circumstances.
(2.21) Fixed an issue where Bosses were automatically adding a Skyshard to the player if they were still alive when you left the area. Thanks to urbon for reporting the issue.
(2.20) Bosses now have a chance to drop a Skyshard when killed. Happy Hunting!
(2.20) Added an optional MCM version of the mod for anyone who prefers an MCM to editing the JSON.
(2.20) Utility Quest is now started via Story Manager instead of script (starting quests via script can apparently break down under heavy usage in long-running saves).

Added a dialogue option for converting Skyshards into Skyshard (Epic). Quantity is determined by how much level progress your lowest level skill would grant via skill-up.
Took some additional precautions against the floating Skyshard being detected or targeted by hostiles.

Skill selection now happens via Dialogue by default.
A config setting and Global have been added to restore the original method of skill selection if desired.
Random skill selection is now multi-threaded whenever the player has multiple Skyshards to consume.
Enb Lights have been added to all Skyshards except Splinters. All Skyshards have been made slightly larger, including Splinters which have a new model.

Added an option for Skyshards to always improve a random skill, also greatly improved & optimized the random selection process.
Added support for Splinter requirements to ramp up over time. This is only exposed to papyrus (for other mod authors) and is disabled by default.

Now supports Experience & SXP Redone. Equipping a Skyshard will grant a configurable amount of experience.
Splinters can now be assembled into either a Skyshard or a Skyshard (Epic) as determined by your config settings.
