    I cant recruit Blades. No dialogue option. I tried different solutions to the problem I've found on this site but no luck yet. Maybe I did sth wrong? Maybe someone could help me with that? Explain to me even more precisely

      Are you using NFF - Nether's Follower Framework?

      If so, the solution is to go into the MCM menu and assign the companion you wish to be recruited into the "gameslot."
      It can be found as the last option in the MCM menu for NFF - "Slot's and History."
      Then there is a dropdown menu on the right under "Sorting" you need to select the follower you wish to be recruited and then click "Send to game slot."
      Once you have done that you exit the menu and wait for a notification that says "Game slot is now occupied," then you should have a dialogue option with Delphine to recruit your follower.

    Hello Garuda,  I wanted to let you know that the dialogue to recruit npcs to the blades never showed up for me so I had to recruit them manually through console commands which worked just fine. However I am unsure how to start the quests to send anyone on a dragon hunt / any other features in this mod. I can see the quests are there in the console. How is this actually supposed to work?  I was able to assign a blade to spy through dialogue with that npc so that’s good. I did talk to esburn about dragon hunting and started a dragon hunt quest to which he asked if I wanted to send the blades to help. The only option through dialogue that I got was basically yes or no. No option to choose who to send specifically.  No option for anything other than vanilla blades stuff from what I’m seeing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I ran this with AFT patch before I recruited anyone only can recruit 3 followers like Vanilla, no other dialogue appears to get more both before and after I talked to Esbern

      I spent last few hours trying to get mod to work but seemingly - at this moment it does nothing. I use Nolvus (comes with NFF), so I'm quite mod heavy but either rotating load order, installing patches, flushing NFF slots etc. has no results. 
      Neither I can send followers to missions nor I can recruit more than 3. 

      Installed it before I did recruit first blade, thinking of it it's a shame i kept playing for a bit since then coz quest is finished now...

      Interestingly i've just finished the MSQ and now i do have the option to recruit additional blades. No send on a mission option but still - just started working, suddenly. Thought that might help in the development.

    Is there any sort of command you can use to manually add this dialogue to delphine or trigger check for dialogue? As I'm running FreeFormSkyHavenTempleABladesOverhaul setstage command, it seemingly cycles between but i never got to see the dialogue on her post 3 blades recruited.

    I was wondering if somebody could port this to Xbox? I dont have a pc or anything so i can't do it but I would love to play this on Xbox.

    I was searching for the old mod that allow me to bring my blade minion to kill whatever dragon since I always made my dragon OP in my all my play-through. Sadly its gone. I'm glad another one emerge in its absence. Cant wait for the update.

    im using Requiem, do i need to patch this or regenerate patches with the ''Reqtificator.bat'' ?

      I've never used Requiem but I looked it up and understand what it does at a high level. At the moment, Blades Overhaul does not add any new weapons, armor, enemies, or perks so I think it should be ok since it sounds like that mod's main focus it applying fixed levels to all of those things. Try it out without patching and let me know if there's any weirdness. If there is, trying patching it first with the .bat. If that doesn't solve the issues, we'll write up a bug report and I can see about getting it fixed in a later release.

      will do, patching with Bat is nessesary if the mod also add NPC's like followers or any NPC actually, if it does then the patch is nessesary.
      Also can i add this mod in my load order without starting a new game ?

      Good news, requiem patcher does not interfer with the mod at all, it is not needed!
      this mod sound perfect for doing this much but without adding unessesary weapons and stat modifications and NPC's, or level list records indorsed!.
      also may i ask those thalmor enemys mentioned in this mod are not new NPC records they just use the records of existen NPCs right ?
      most of quest mods used in requiem are usually needed patching because they add new enemy records and leveled list things and containers.
      If you like your skyrim to be challenging try requiem, i can't play this game without requiem anymore xD
      i'll be notifying you if i find any issues !

      That's good to hear everything is playing nice!

      To answer your question about a new game - My recommendation is using a save before you have started the vanilla recruitment quest. If you do have to use a save that has already started vanilla recruitment, it won't cause any game breaking changes. However, keep in mind that you'll probably see duplicate dialogue if you didn't finish recruiting all 3 Blades. If you did already recruit all 3 Blades, they will be in a separate pool from the Blades Overhaul's pool. So the vanilla 3 won't be eligible for dragon hunting or field deployments. I think what I need to do is make an MCM option to clear the old vanilla Blades slots and stop the vanilla quests. It should be easy and it will allow everyone to jump into the mod where ever they are in a save game.

      To answer your question about new NPCs - I'm working on the Thalmor related quests now and the plan is to not add any new NPCs whatsoever. And that goes for the whole mod. I want to use the leveled Thalmor NPCs as the soldiers you will be fighting, any follower in the vanilla follower faction is eligible for recruitment, and quest givers will be the vanilla Blades leadership (Delphine, Esbern, and plans for Fultheim). So that's a long winded way of saying, no there are currently no plans to add unique NPCs that would need to be patched for requiem or any other similar overhaul. However, I may be adding in new Blades lore related items, like weapons and armor. But that's way down the line for now.

    Hi garuda, so I get glitch it looks like delphine's dialogue when talking about recruiting blade there are 2, when I check in xedit and yeah there are from vanilla and from this mod, which one should I prioritize?

      This is almost certainly because you are using a save that has already started the vanilla Blades recruitment quest. The Blades Overhaul version should have the "nevermind" option as the top when she asks if you're sure you want to recruit.

      This doesn't break anything if you haven't recruited anyone before installing the mod, but that follower will not be a part of the mod's Blades pool, so he won't go Dragon Hunting or be eligible for Field Assignments. I recommend loading a save prior to starting that quest, but if that's not practical, just be sure you're using the right dialogue option and you'll be fine.

      The only way to avoid that issue from my end is to edit the vanilla quest and I chose not to do that because the big follower mods make edits to that quest so it creates all sorts of compatibility and patching issues. Simply not touching it was the best option.

      Ah okay, luckily I still have the save game even though I have to repeat several quests... I also found 2 NULLs that had to be DIAL, so I assume it's still WIP... is it okay to ignore?

      Edit : oh nevermind, someone has already reported it in bug section.

      Just to confirm what you saw, yep perfectly fine to ignore. The fix is coming in the next release, but those dialogue options will never appear so there's no risk to your game.
