Love the armor! Out of curiosity, what's the sword with the armor in the screenshots? It looks great with the set.

Would it be possible to add a black mask under the headpiece or at least bridging the gap between the top half and bottom half so the mouth is hidden? I was thinking of using the cowl from the black sacrament armor mod (Black Sacrament Armor - SSE CBBE BodySlide (with Physics) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)) but I have no idea what I'm doing with outfit studio.

Sorry for the possible dumb question, but would it be possible to be used with the Sam Light body only, without HIMBO?

so, I can't find where to craft the Genji set, I looked in the Steel set (because you need steel to craft it) but from what I can tell, it isn't there.

As written in the description page, you need to own the matching ingredient (Mountain Flowers) for the recipes to appear.

I love it. I use it all the time with one of my gals. My only wonder is why it's not light armor, It may be samurai ish, but it is pretty ninja like as well for the fantasy type.

Tbh, hybrid armor design like this always puzzles me on which type I should go for. I wish we still have Medium Armor type like previous games.

In the end, I decided to go with heavy armor so Kaidan can wear it lol

Any way to get rid of that annoying armor piece under your chin in first person?

I saw you were posting a lot the past few days. I had a feeling you were going to release a new "class" armor. Really good work as always. Keep it up!

Yeah, I'll be looking forward to seeing if he does one for Bards. These seem to be FF based though, and there haven't been many Bards/Singers/Dancers in the series, though it is a class in FF. Probably the most notable instance would be the Songstress Dressphere from FF X-2, maybe it would look like that if he does it. I like that even the more "exotic" class armors still look like they could fit in with Skyrim's aesthetic.

?Thank you! Up next is Dark Knight; then something for Inigo, which I haven't decided yet what he's going to be; then for Hoth, which would be Barbarian/Warrior (FFXIV) sort of aesthetic.

Bard is on the list, but I have yet to be interested in playing as one. Here's an old concept that I have~

Dancer will come once I truly master HDT-SMP physics for the clothes coz I really want to make the clothes flow nicely but they are hard to animate with SMP.

I like your concept. The reason I don't use that massive wardrobe mod (that I can't remember the name of but has something to do with closets) is because that bard outit is way too extravagant for Skyrim. This is much more understated. I get that Bards are typically flamboyantly fashionable, but Skyrim has a completely different aesthetic than a typical medieval fantasy setting, so it's really easy to fall into the trap of making an outfit go way beyond eccentric to looking like something from another dimension.

But I say this from a general design standpoint rather than a technical modding one.

I think I'll end up with at least 3 different version of Bard in the end. (At this point I might as well overhaul every bards' outfits in Skyrim lol)
I think some bards like Sven, Dela, and Talsgar could use a more classic D&D caped wanderer-style of bard getup; while Viarmo would look more fitting with a Dandelion's flamboyant-noble look. I could also see Panthea wearing a more refined dressier type of songstress gown or maybe even a knee-length dress.

I seem to only have the Genji Armor and the Ame-No-Murakumo Sword in the Forge

the other two required having Genji pieces as requirements (and also as base materials). I did this to not clutter my forge list.

      Thanks for the quick response.

But the other armors still do not show up in the Forge, even when I have the Genji set in my inventory

      Found it.

      For anyone else who also can't find the other armors, You also need;
Genta set : Blue Mountain Flowers
      Gensou set : Charcoal

Yeah I forgot to add that, in addition to have Genji set in your inventory, you need to have at least 1 Blue Mountain Flower in your inventory (each pieces need 2) for Genta set to show; and at least 1 Charcoal (each pieces also need 1) for the Gensou set to appear. Sorry for the confusion, I'll add this information to the description page.

A couple of things I just found

My recipe for Gensou needs the Genji Armor and Leather strips. No Charcoal needed, except for the recipe to show up.
My recipe for Genta needs Blue Mountain Flowers and Leather strips. The Genji armor issn't needed for crafting it
