Placed the String ID (ActorTypeNPC) in the correct slot in the _DISTRI.ini.
Overview Wood Frame Backpacks SSE contains five (5) stunning backpacks (Vigilant, Hunter, Elven, Stormcloak, Merchant). Main mod utilizes a small script that runs once (at game initialization) to distribute and equip one (1) random backpack to all NPCs (ActorTypeNPC). The main mod will always calculate its random distribution based on five (5) backpacks no matter how distribution is configured (e.g., female, male, level, faction, voicetype, etc.).
Five optional files distribute particular backpacks to respective groups (i.e., merchants, hunters, Nords, etc.). All optional files can be used together. No need to even use the Main file. All files are standalone. Please see Article, however, is you use more than one optional file.
Compatibility Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods.
Body slots, however, are not compatible. Choose wisely, or edit the body slot. I will not alter body slots.
Clipping will likely occur depending on setup. I will not resolve clipping issues.
Installation and Uninstallation Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that SPID will not impact save games in any way. Safe to uninstall at anytime.

Caveats, Recommendations, and Extensions
Fully standalone. Does not require the original mod. The very generous permissions by sheepswirl have made this possible. Be sure to thank sheepswirl and endorse Wood Frame Backpacks SSE
Children will not equip backpacks
Backpacks have a +50 carry weight
Images in this mod are for illustration purposes only. Your NPCs will receive a random backpack if using the main mod. The original mod Wood Frame Backpacks SSE has fantastic images of each backpack.
If using more than one file, xEdit will show mesh and texture conflicts. This is expected. The original mod shares mesh and textures across backpacks. Scripts, however, should not show a conflict (let me know if they do!)
Backpacks are reasonably priced, but you might delete the values in xEdit in order to not bloat your economy.
