I liked that Requiem added a range of crossbows as part of what it does, but I really never much liked the models it uses. I've had the Expanded Crossbow Pack & Elite Crossbows for awhile, and always much preferred those models. This is small patch I've had kicking around from long before the Anniversary Edition. It simply swaps the models for Requiem added crossbows in favour of the CC models.

It does NOT balance or integrate both those CC mods with Requiem. I may look to do this in the future, but I don't see much need for the CC mods to be active. You are free to still use those if you wish. In order to fill out the full complement, it uses the CC Silver model for the Vigilant crossbow added by Requiem. I've left the Iron Crossbow alone as it already has a unique texture and looks good to me.

INSTALLATION:

Assuming you have upgraded to AE, though will also work on SSE if you already own CC Crossbow Collection & Elite Crossbows. I recommend using the Anniversary Edition Content Picker to handle your CC content. You only need the mesh/texture assets from the associated BSAs from:

ccbgssse043-crosselv.esl
ccffbsse002-crossbowpack.esl

Extract the BSAs of both mods and make sure they are loose files in your load order. You can disable the esl files of each, if you don't want to use the mods alongside.

TO DO:

Fozar's Dragonborn Patch adds a Stahlrim crossbow. Will include that once the issues with that mod and the new Reqtificator are sorted out.

V 1.1: the Stalhrim & Nordic crossbows added by Fozars patch are now covered.

For Requiem 5, though should be just fine for previous unofficial ported versions.

I plan on doing something similar with Requiem's battlestaves, which are an eyesore to me.

Requiem 5.3 now uses Heavy Armory models so huzzah for the barkeep.
