Now this is the good stuff, recently got back into Skyrim and this is something I've been craving for awhile. Any chance you'll eventually convert the pistols to Requiem as well?
I don't really plan to patch their stats. However, even without a patch, they're not completely useless in Requiem. Shooting the enemy with a pistol causes them to stagger, allowing you to create opportunities to land free hits with your main weapons after staggering your enemies with a pistol shot.
I also recommend my Pistol Reloading Script mod if you do end up going for pistols - without that mod you can just spam shots, which makes the stagger kind of op.

I'm considering installing the mod again, so maybe. Won't promise it, though.
