JFC spent ages fiddling with different "fixes" for this terrible hairline on some NPCs.... and it was the freakin ENB this whole time! Just disabling the blackhair fix was good enough for me, but goddamn!
Well done Buddha, black hair fix and detailed shadows are the main culprits. There is actually a mesh level fix that was uploaded just this month as an update to this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/82271 but having to export facegen with CK is not something I want to do, it barely works and refuses to load fix patches.
Now I can also start a new game and continue my fixing saga.
how do install this? just into my skyrim folder and let it overwrite my enb? I only have the ugly hairline not the floating hair.. do i need all the files? I'm using mythical rudy enb for CW with Lux Thanks in advance for any help!
Apologies for the late reply, not very active on nexus anymore. Any enb or rudy updates could affect your game so I would only use the files as a reference. For the best results with the enb files, you should follow the video. You can use the ReShade files as they are... with ReShade installed of course.
