Tired of constantly casting Soul Trap on enemies to fill your soul gems? Annoyed that you have to enchant one of your weapons with Soul Trap just so you can fill up gems to charge your main weapons? Then this mod is for you.
The mod adds a constant Soul Trap cloak effect to the player similar to the Soul Cloak in Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim. Any nearby hostile NPCs will be targeted with a Soul Trap, and when they are killed their souls will be trapped. The effect is only applied to hostile NPCs, so any friendly NPCs dying will not yield souls. This all happens completely automatically, no action on the part of the player is required.
The mod comes with an MCM to adjust the settings (requires MCM Helper). Following things are included:
The plugin is ESL flagged, and the mod is perfectly safe to install mid playthrough.
Because this mod leads to trapping souls of killed enemies somewhat randomly I strongly suggest installing a mod like YASTM - Yet Another Soul Trap Manager, Acquisitive Soul Gems Multithreaded or GIST - Genuinely Intelligent Soul Trap to deal with partially filled soul gems.

Compatibility:
Uses the vanilla soul trap system, so compatible with all soul trap mods.

- Soul Trap Chance (%), adjusts the chance the soul of a killed actor is captured. By default this is 100 %, so every soul is trapped.
- Soul Trap Range, sets the radius of the area around the player inside of which souls will be trapped. By default this is 100, see the image section for an illustration of how far this reaches.
