i believe this is a great mod, capable of changing the gameplay of Skyrim VR.
I'm using Pico VR headset, and both Pico Connect and ALVR-VR streaming tools fail to run the mod properly. Only Visual Desktop seems to work correctly, It's strange that Auto Sneak and Jump VR isn't affected at all.
I suspect it might be a compatibility issue with the openvr-api driver (since both Pico Connect and ALVR use OpenVR-API),perhaps SkyrimVRTools isn't passing events, this could be the same issue as with WMR

I haven't tried https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85389 yet, but I think there's hope. Currently, I'm playing games by using a visual desktop(cross-region usage), next time, when the pico headset system gets hot-updated and I get sent back, I'll give this method a try, I will reply with the results in this...but there's a higher chance I'll end up changing headsets next time! XD

I loved this mod, I really did; dodging is something Skyrim should've always had, especially in VR. But my game was frequently freezing during combat. I've done a lot of trial and error testing, with pretty much every single mod I had that was attaching combat scripts to the player. And it seemed like this was the one doing it. My assumption is, the mod is simply and unfortunately too "script heavy" and it's too much for the game engine to handle. I was forced to uninstall to continue my playthrough. But if it ever gets fixed, do let me know, because this was one of my favorite mods of all time freezes aside.
This is an skse mod. So it doesn't use any papyrus scripts that would make it script heavy in the traditional sense.
There may be a conflict with another skse mod, but I'd need to know more about your mod list to pin it down.
There is a pause in the slow time effect. I set it up so that time almost freezes initially, and then time ramps up. You can make that pause longer or shorter in the ini. If everybody except you is freezing, that's probably the effect.
A bit ago i turned off this mod alongside physical sneak and jump, but i might have turned them off while sneaking so now i cant sneak and when i try to sprint i roll, so i tried to reinstall both mods and i crash after a few seconds of being in the game, i saw a post on this page that said that they crash whenever they try to dodge, so i think i might be in a constant sneak but not sneak state that the game thinks I'm dodging but I'm not so it just crashes me, any tips`?
I love the idea of this mod so much! however i am finding difficulty actually getting it to work? i pull out my weapons and move around and step side to side up and down left and right and just... nothing!
if anyone could help i would really appreciate it, trying to re-install it now so ill post an update
Update: i manually downloaded the file and installed it on Vortex, however now my Skyrim save is warning me that the esp is missing... its not, and when i do the dodge action the game crashes. so getting closer!
hey thank you! that was it, it wasn't in the right load order, i went and tried it and it finally worked, think my problem was having installing it though vortex, i instead downloaded it manually and its working like a charm!

Fun mod! Works best if you have a little room. With a bit of practice, I was "dodging" circles around a bandit while hitting him with my sword. Admittedly, you can use the control stick for this, but I enjoyed the physicality of it. I combined this with Nalo and vive trackers on my feet.
They attach to my ankles. They are fantastic for walking and running in place. For most combat maneuvers, using the stick is easier but you don't have to if you want to increase combat difficulty.
thanks for adding that log capability. I could edit the settings, test them out, edit the settings, test them out, etc endlessly and still get nowhere close to making it feel natural. Having a log is ideal.
reaally love this mod but..i dont like the white screen effect to indicate that we trigg this. ca you add a little option to remove this? please please ! :(

There are velocity thresholds in the ini. You can use those to make it easier to dodge.
