Thank you for this, Having lived in high altitude snow country I was horrified to notice the lack of doors and the rough paling roof also. Whoever designed it has never see snow in RL or was plain lazy. IMO Angi is a really undeveloped NPC and it is a pity she has no mod carrying her life further. With EFF she can be made a follower so that allows some room for extending the woeful shrift Beth gave her. The mod" "An Evening with Angi" requires Ostim and is too limited IMHO while Coldsea's Angi (she is in pack 8) is perfect as a image replacement.
Thanks for this mod. It's a wholesome feeling fixing this shack, that Bethesda should be ashamed to have even given this poor lady. I do ask one favor though... If you are going to name the MOD "Better Living for Angi", then please update and make it consistent so it doesn't show up as "Better Life for Angi" on the MOD organizers.
Things get real confusing when you are trying to update, or redo your Mods, and a simple thing like this, than throw you off for a good while.
Don't know if you take suggestions but something i've also noticed that bothers me is hod, gerdurs and sigrid, alvors home they don't have their own bedrooms which makes no sense they also invite the player in (sort of like a starter base but there is nowhere for the player to sleep or ralof for that matter!) there are probably other examples of this throughout the game but that one comes to mind.

I have actually never thought of that, maybe because I usually only make not sleepover at their house, in the beginnig of the game. But I think that I could do something. I can give Hod and Gerdur a small celler/basement that could be Ralof's room, with a spare bed. But Sigrid and Alvor's house I don't know, as they already have a celler/basement. Maybe remove/move the bar, and make room for 2 more beds.. Maybe you have an idea for their house.
The big question is why they have a non-used bar in their cellar to start with. Bethesda will never be allowed to decorate any house I live in because they are awful at that.
Quick question, how does this work with the new mod "An Evening With Angi" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/74499)? Is it completely compatible? Maybe even endorsed? Or they do not align at all? In that case, is anyone willing to do some kind of patch? Because since I got a really nice look for her, "GLAM Angi" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/63723), which also makes her a follower and a spouse, I would love for her to have a nicer house too. But romancing her remains the most important thing still.
No idea.. I don't use those kinds of mods so can't even test it.. This mod only add stuff to her home, it doesn't touch Angi herself or any vanilla records, except a small landscape fix, in any way
Just tested all three mentioned today, and they work together perfectly. So thank you very much for your work, it looks really nice! I also tried your patch for Rigmor, no issue there either (those other two mods does not seem to work properly with Rigmor, and they do not have patches for that apparently, so good thinking from your side, appreciate it!) Once again, thanks, I always loved Angi, and now that I returned to Skyrim after a long time, these mods for her are making me so happy!
Very nice! I felt bad for her living in that poor open shack, with the rain falling on her, the snow, the wind... soooo cold! and the lack of the door....so bandits and wild animals can get inside and eat her. Very dangerous! Now she lives a better life in her upgraded house. Thank you!
Nice, poor Angi now lives a little better, but what I noticed - the practice arrows and Hunting Bow outside, on the table, near the practice field are marked red, while Angi is giving them out for free.
I don't usually comment on home improvement mods, but the sorry shape of her cabin most likely is a result of poor carpentry skills and lack of quality tools. Even a poor workmen would fix the holes, but most likely by hammering a plank over it or jamming something into it. To make it look like something a woman fleeing to the hills to save her life, should be more shanty and less well built. Not having a door always bothered me too.
I think that she has had to fend for herself for many years (we don't know how long she have lived there), and in those years she have self-learned a lot of things over the years, for better surviving up there in the cold, all alone. As of the vanilla shack, she would have died living in that shack (if we think realism).

That girl is living on a top of mountain (freezing there) and she's simply wearing a common farm outfit.
This mod only add stuff to her home, it doesn't touch Angi herself or any vanilla records, except a small landscape fix, in any way
This mod here is adding stuff to her shack. The other, is simply a 'xxx' interaction mod about her.
Now she lives a better life in her upgraded house. Thank you!
