Can someone tell me the correct load order for this mod, Enhanced Solitude docks and their respective patch? i installed the patch but the terrain is kinda messy
Yea the terrain is messed up on my side too. okay so all i had to do was put syerscote and then the patch for Enhanced Solitude docks all the way at the bottom of my load order and it fixed terrain. If that doesnt work for some odd reason i would go in CK and make some edits. i know it seems hard but i just taught myself when trying to fix this mod and it was super easy only took me 15 min to learn how to edit landscape. i know in my case there's gonna be some edits that need to be made when you have northern roads and a ton of city overhauls
Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I just tested the mod and patch out with the most recent version of ESD and the terrain was fine, so what you experienced was most likely a conflict with a different mod. Since ESD's plugin is an ESM and Syerscote's is an ESP, it should be impossible for the mods to load in the wrong order.
I'm happy to make a patch if there's a terrain conflict with another mod, though. Just let me know and I'll have a look. :)
don't worry my friend, i actually was a little worried because i am running enhanced solitude docks with enhanced solitude sse and those mods have a terrain patch, but i just put the patch for Syerscote and enhanced solitude docks in the "late loader" group and the terrain just got fixed, so i can say that this works with enhanced solitude docks AND enhanced solitude sse, witch just make the city even more stupidly bigger.
Ah, well, I haven't personally patched it for High Poly Head and I'm not sure if anyone else has. I suppose I could do it, though it's been a while now since I last modded Skyrim, so it might be best to ask someone else with more experience working with HPH. This guy seems talented.
Need some help understanding what exactly is causing crashing whenever I go near Syerscote. Never had a problem with this place in the past and now it crashes every time.
Okay, so I downloaded an earlier version 1.0, and that one works, was able to go here just fine with no crashes of the several times I've done so, so that is good. So what I wonder, what is different about the current version 2.2 to the old one 1.0? Oh, though for some reason I am missing the dock so the crates are floating in the air above the water.
I'm not sure what could be causing this, as it works fine for me. A mod conflict, maybe? It may be worth having a look in XEdit to see if there are any mods that clash. If there are, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Solitude can get a bit messy with lots of mods.
Version 1.0 still had a few bugs, I'm afraid. 2.2 really is the one to use. There shouldn't be any major differences between the two besides bugfixes and the odd small addition, so I have no idea why 1.0 would work better. Are you using any patches?
So one moment, and this on a new game, the dock isn't there, and then later I go there again with the same mods loaded up and the dock is there, makes no sense. Nothing else modifying the area other than water for Realistic Waters Two which shouldn't affect the dock and that same dock is used in a few other mods and those ones weren't playing the disappear reappear game on me. Thinking it may be just a Skyrim loading issue, for all I know the dock wasn't the only thing missing that time that it was, but since it return mysteriously on its own I guess all is good. As for while the later version was crashing I dunno, but happened every time of the few times I tried so that's when I went back to a previous one, guess there's nothing in that crash log that gives a clue.
The disappearing docks bug was fixed several updates ago (as shown in the changelog). Not sure what was causing it but simply replacing it with the same model did the trick.
Your load order is quite large so the crashing on 2.2 may well be due to a mod conflict. I haven't had any other crash reports since the last update so the problem is probably on your end. I'm afraid I can't really give support for a version of the mod that's been updated 6 times since.
Try checking the records in XEdit. If there are any conflicts with other mods, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Ah, I see, I didn't think to look in the changelog that the dock was an issue in the earlier versions. Will redownload the latest one and check in SSEedit again and see what I can find, thank you.
I'm on 1.6.640 AE. This is a very pleasant little town. Voice acting is always great, the town decoration made it feel lived in and the imperial quest was good. At first I actually thought a vanilla voice actor was hired to voice the mayor. Very, very good job on that. The house is so small and cozy. Kitchen, dining table for two, an upstairs office with a mannequin and a nice little bedroom with a double bed. I can't overstate how much I like the decoration of the mod. The only problems I encountered were the alchemist did not voice the greeting lines she spoke either time I entered the shop and when I attempted to leave after the quest's final fade to black my screen faded to black again and I was teleported back to that spot on the deck. Didn't happen again after. edit - Oh yes, the mod is compatible with Daedric Shrines by Mandragorasprouts.
Hi, completely agree about Solitude Skyway. Great mod. Tested it a while ago and it's completely compatible so I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it.
As for the statics, I'm reluctant to remove any since I'm not the original author of this mod. I've been trying to relegate any changes to just bugfixes and additions. I did add a few more things to *cough* acquire *cough* in the last update but, to be honest, there isn't a whole lot of space left to place things. Should be a fair bit of gold and stuff in the new containers, though.
iNeed is perfectly compatible with this mod. The only thing that might be worth doing would be to enable the well as a water source, but iNeed lets you do that in-game anyway by placing down a bucket and the settlement is right next to a giant freshwater river.

Okay, so I downloaded an earlier version 1.0, and that one works, was able to go here just fine with no crashes of the several times I've done so, so that is good. So what I wonder, what is different about the current version 2.2 to the old one 1.0? Oh, though for some reason I am missing the dock so the crates are floating in the air above the water.
I'm not sure what could be causing this, as it works fine for me. A mod conflict, maybe? It may be worth having a look in XEdit to see if there are any mods that clash. If there are, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Solitude can get a bit messy with lots of mods.
Version 1.0 still had a few bugs, I'm afraid. 2.2 really is the one to use. There shouldn't be any major differences between the two besides bugfixes and the odd small addition, so I have no idea why 1.0 would work better. Are you using any patches?
Your load order is quite large so the crashing on 2.2 may well be due to a mod conflict. I haven't had any other crash reports since the last update so the problem is probably on your end. I'm afraid I can't really give support for a version of the mod that's been updated 6 times since.
Try checking the records in XEdit. If there are any conflicts with other mods, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
edit - Oh yes, the mod is compatible with Daedric Shrines by Mandragorasprouts.
Also, do you think you could remove some statics and add actual items to...*cough*
stealrepurpose *cough*As for the statics, I'm reluctant to remove any since I'm not the original author of this mod. I've been trying to relegate any changes to just bugfixes and additions. I did add a few more things to *cough* acquire *cough* in the last update but, to be honest, there isn't a whole lot of space left to place things. Should be a fair bit of gold and stuff in the new containers, though.
I'll consider it if I get any more requests.
