Just FYI. We are hiding inv_clouddistant01_50.nif because of this issue
    .

Not sure if you have any advice about this particular mesh or its intent. Perhaps Obsidian Mountain Fogs needs a patch for this mod?

Would you mind elaborating? I'm interested, because it significantly improves the look of Obsidian Mountain Fogs in lots of locations and I'm curious what Picta is doing to them.

      Hey....I once wrote this...quick reply....uhhh....

      Long reply:

Vanilla places "Inv_Clouddistant01_50.nif" in the middle of the tundra.
Obisdian Mountain Fog increases the size of said mesh by alot.
My Mods makes the Mountain Fogs Double Sided so regardless of position you can see the Fogs.

So whats seen in the screenshots is a super sized Mountain Fog from behind

So it sounds like you are saying that Obsidian Mountain Fogs is somewhat (and maybe subjectively) visually incompatible with picta. I believe obsidian is altering this mesh via plugin.

So since Picta makes mountain fog double sided, Obsidian should be tweaked to remove that mesh size adjustment to get Picta as intended with Obsidian's other fog tweaks? I will take a look at this.

How did you go with this? A compatibility patch would be amazing!

@TrueDraconis - so I've been using this with my current load order since the end of June/beginning of July with Obsidian Weathers and I'm liking it as a replacement for Smooth Sky Mesh. Quick question based on your comment regarding inv_clouddistant01_50.nif
We do not need a patch for this correct?

I have since forgotten to look further at this and am now thinking it might be more a matter of patching Obsidian Mountain Fogs to not target certain mesh(es).

Incidentally, we have moved to Obsidian Mountain Fogs Tweaked, which may still need a patch for Picta. Details TBD, I guess. When I have time to look again more closely (unless someone beats me to it).

How is Obsidian Mountain Fogs Tweaked interacting with Picta meshes? Any results to report on?

Rudy uses other files from other mods for his sky and cloud meshes, I believe. I believe he advises against using other sky meshes.

I only want the fix for the horizon seam. Which files from textures/meshes would I need for this?

If u mean the horizon line, u can use Smooth Sky mesh: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18350
It's pretty much a must have.
