O so you just making Settings Loaders for everything, not just Smilodon. Wow, thank you so much. This helps me, and helps other modders who give me crap to test, do it all much much faster. The amount of time your loaders are gonna save me starting 30 new games a day to test all kinds of stuff, is just ridiculous. You deserve so many thousands of kudoses. Much appreciated!
Omg and you even gave a loading delay for huge amounts of stuff going on at the start. Ooof, you think of everything.
In this one you say to start a new game or clean save. But, since this is only overwrites the script files from CCOR, a "clean" save isn't really possible (clearing scripts from the save with Resaver). Is it good enough to just load a save with only base CCOR, save a new save, exit, enable Settings Loader, and start Skyrim again?
Update: Nope, just tried that, doesn't work (Mining Presets, Gem List and Ingot Production are borked by trying to upgrade that way).
The reason why you need to delete the old script through a clean save (without CCOR) or start a new game is that the new loader is minimally different from the original script (as a result, updates to new versions will be instantly done). Version 1.x.x was completely different to the original CCOR's MCM.
You can just try to set MCM again if you can't make clean save.
Thanks. I'll have a think about how to approach that. I don't think loading a save without CCOR would be possible, it's too deeply entangled into too many mods, many of which have their own scripts and dependencies. It's the core of a web you likely can't pull apart. I could try finding the script instances in Resaver manually and deleting them.
Unfortunately setting the MCM all over isn't possible because after updating the naive way, the MCM isn't fully functional (Ingot Production etc are broken).
I've got the same problem. If you drop the old settings loader, it deletes the menu options for Mining Presets, Gem Options, and Ingot Production. Even after a fresh save, the new settings loader does not repair the issue. Please post details if you are able to clean successfully with ReSaver, drumtilt.
This is why you need a clean save (without CCOR) or a new game. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it in this version. Future versions will not have this problem.
Masked is right (of course): You need to disable CCOR (and all it's patches) and the Settings Loader. I also deleted the old saved MCM file from the SKSE folder, just to be sure. Then load the game WITHOUT CCOR. Wait a bit until CCOR has been removed from the game MCM list. Make a save. Close Skyrim and clean "unattached instances", "undefined elements", and if you are feeling brave "non-existent form instances" with ReSaver. Save the cleaned save file with a different name. (= cleaned save)
Then start Skyrim with only CCOR (and all it's patches) activated, so NOT the new Settings Loader yet. Wait til CCOR appears in the game MCM. Adjust CCOR's settings. Make a new save. Close Skyrim. Activate the new settings loader. Start Skyrim. Check the settings, which should now all be in place.
Not sure if ALL these steps are necessary, but I did it like this just to be sure no remnants were left behind.
Yes, but I'm in the same situation as drumtilt. There are too many mods that rely on CCOR. I'd have to disable _many_ other mods and reintroduce them again. This has proved problematic on saved games in the past. So, if there is a less invasive way to delete the problem script(s) from the save file, I'd like to try that.
When I install this, it disables all the options for Display Recipes from other mods. They are all greyed out and I can't choose them. Would love to use this and love all your qol mods.
It looks like though that the translation (speaking specifically for English, do not know about the rest) files provided by your mod are not in-tandem with CCOR's. There are lines missing and lines that do not exist in CCOR that are present in your version (not talking about your entries for loading/saving etc).
Hi, I compared both files, and the only difference is the removal of duplicates. The following translations simply occur twice in the file, and I have removed the second occurrence: if I missed something please let me know!
I'm having problems with multiple of these settings loader mods where the MCM for the original mod comes up blank, does anyone know what that's about? So far it happens for Enhanced Blood, CCOR, and Trade and Barter. It does work for Nether's Follower Framework and XPMSE and Violens though, so I don't know what would be different.
You need to install the correct MCM Helper and other mods for your version of the game. After AE, everything is messed up and people install mods for SE while they have AE and vice versa.
I found an issue where the default edited tempering and enchanting values change themselves to 0 right away. I usually just ticked those boxes and made small adjustments but now it starts from scratch. If I reset to default settings they display correctly for about a second but then they all hit 0 before I can use them.

Sorry it's been so long, but the last two months have been very busy with IRL stuff.

Can you please have a look?

But the following ones, towards the end and before your settings are not (I think) needed:
I will correct this in next version.Fixed in 1.1.1, thanks for the info :)Edit: DONE.
