Since v.1.3 this mod works as good with Parallax as it does with SE's Snow Shader, though I suggest to use Parallax now. I amplified the Parallax maps to maximum and made them look like Multilayer Parallax on icy parts (looks really cool;)
I loved the VL parallax for roads but I got a halo following the player that projected shadows on the road stones. As much as I tried, I couldn´t get to disable it while using the mod.
Hey again. So I personally lack the knowledge of porting so I am unable, but there’s a community that handles such on Xbox. Previously you had granted me perms would you allow me to hand them off? Porter will give credit with inclusion of the original mod linked in the description.
Not sure if this should be a bug report or not, but MO2 gave me a warning that the plugin for the parallax roads was in form 43. Went through the usual procedures to get it to form 44, but then my main menu wouldn't load upon starting the game. Wasn't frozen or anything, just none of the menu selections popped up (new game, continue, etc.). Uninstalled to check and sure enough it came back. For anyone else I'd recommend ignoring the form 43 error if you get it
It works flawlessly after the patch! Really appriciate your work on the this, the skyrim snow texture has been a pain in the ass for many years. Finally there is a solution on it. Hope more people could find and enjoy your mods.
hello :) just wanted to check and see if it’s possible to create a patch to utilize this texture on majestic mountain meshes. Getting very close to an almost perfect visual setup, and trying to tinker around a bit on nifskope to try and get it looking good but I am a bit lost. Best parallax snow on the nexus btw, lookin amazing!
actually, scratch that. I removed MM, and am using your mountain textures now without the MM meshes to worry about. One thing I am curious of though, is if it is possible to add the actual texture of your parallaxed snow directly to mountain and cliffs, or if only possible to add snow shader from game engine?
Possibly a silly question, but do i put parallax for roads before or after Blended Roads? Considering that i have the 3d meshes option from Blended Roads and i wanna keep it.
Hello, I've been really enoying your vivid landscapes series but I have been having a strange problem with this one! As can be seen in the image the snow LOD is a strangely darkened. (Both mountain snow and iceberg.) Was just wondering if anyone could provide some insight as I'm stumped with this one!

and you should use it together with my mountain mod, especially to get the matching snowrocks texture:

Though I kept that in mind while making this mod
Howsoever, this set works as well without terrain parallax... actually most of the screens are made without it and even without an Enb...
