Playing in VR so I need to avoid the USSEP which most could care less about regardless, however, it should be listed as a requitement when downloading this as it unfortunately requires it as a master.
Edit: So I tested the Mods and they don't seem to play well together. I had Granny put in Jail, went to Aventus, told him, then had to go back to the other Woman in the Kidshome and finished the Innocent Quest. Then I cheated in the Letter from the Revengeance Mod (cause ain't have time to wait lol) went to Falkreath and found the location then, I had to move the Mod under the DB Destroy cause Maro was not there (like last time testing) after moving he was there and he gave me the mission to kill them all, did that and as Reward I got... nothing? xD
Then I loaded again after I got the mission from Maro, (switched the mods again so the other would win in LO) went in and killed everyone besides Astrid, she's not around, because basically in the Destroy DB she is already dead, so that's not working. Then I loaded before I cheated in the Message from Revengeance and tried to cheat in the message from the other Mod, but that didn't gave me a Quest cause, Astrid ain't dead I assum.
So if I use this mod and inform the guard about the sanctuary, does it mark the quest 'With Friends Like These...' as completed? Asking coz i installed Restoring the Aretino Residence mod alongside Innocence Lost QE and chose to arrest Grelod. Now i cannot start 'With friends like these' which needs to be completed before starting the restoration.
From the mod description for Innocence Lost - Quest Expansion:
"If you plan to eventually destroy the Dark Brotherhood, I recommend installing EpicCrab's "Dark Brotherhood Rising Revengeance", which allows you to destroy the Dark Brotherhood without first having to murder Grelod. Fully compatible with this mod."
If there's an incompatibility after all, might want to let JaySerpa know.
Okay but, does Astrid show up in the sanctuary if you do this version of the quest? Seems a bit odd to finish them off with her somehow surviving.... (Granted, I know Cicero and Babette survive canonically. But.... Eh.... Gotta leave the DBH open for ES6.)
I'm not getting attacked by any assassin's, is there any other way to get the map to the sanctuary? I've tried console commands to spawn the assassin's but they never have any notes on them.
Hello, I suppose you mean mean in the room where there's the remains of the sacrament ? I couldn't find the map, only the letter, is the map in the vicinity ? Edit : NVM, found it
I went through with Destroy the Dark Brotherhood via this mod and Astrid had the Abandoned Shack key on her like in vanilla. Out of curiosity I took it to the shack to check if the captives were there. Upon discovering them, there is no option to unbind them. The only thing 'talking' to them will get is generic NPC lines like "Need something?"
I was going to make a comment on this as well. Quest modding is out of my experience, but I think it would be neat if we could get a dialogue option to free them.
Or a more simpler solution being to just disable them after the Destroy the Dark Brotherhood quest as they technically wouldn't have any reason to be captured since the Dragonborn never killed Greta. Plus I don't think have any interactions with the outside world at all.
Is this still slated for a fix? With JaySerpa's new Innocence Lost quest mod pointing over here as the recommended option for how to destroy the dark brotherhood without first killing Grelod, it could be nice to have this thing with the bound NPCs still being there taken care of. Or perhaps the key could just not be in Astrid's inventory if doing the quest this way? That way you can't even access the shack in normal gameplay?
I was attempting to test this mod (specifically for compatibility with Imperial Gratitude), and an assassin did eventually spawn. However, the only note on the assassin was the regular contract message. May I ask what the percentage chances of "rare drop" are, so as to better anticipate the necessary commitment to further testing?
Found out there's an alternate spawn elsewhere, so this is no longer a problem; for now the two mods don't seem to work together, but at least now I can test compatibility fairly easily.

Would like to deal with Granny but also destroy the Brotherhood with the Enhanced Mod keeping it going in a different way.
