find a bug , after new game , everything was good, but when I load a save game, all hotkey, power/shout, DAR reaction mod not response. Dont know if it has anything to do with other core mod like powerofthree or SKSE lilbary
Like tuoithocampho posted below, starting a game with this enabled, saving, then loading that game you lose all MCM keybind functionality. You can see the bind still active in the MCM menu, but if you try to rebind nothing happens and the menu freezes.
Pressing an MCM bound key in game does nothing. Can't doge roll, emote, potion hotkey, sheath (rebound through MCM for Seperate Power Attack.) It may have something to do with it loading before exiting Live Another Life tower.
I'll see if it happens without AS LAL tomorrow, but have been trying to narrow the issue down for about 4 hours now and it's late. I'm using about 15 other of your Settings Loader mods and this is the only one that causes this issue.
The great thing about this mod is not only the QOL improvement, but also the fact that it can suppress the Ultimate Combat settings bug! The sneak setting and speed bonus override other mod settings when you start the game, and if you turn them off right after you start the game, the game settings will still change (in my case, Realistic AI Detection is broken). I've been struggling with this for a long time, but after turning it off beforehand with this awesome Settings Loader, it no longer happens! Thanks a lot!
Just so you know, starting a new game with the settings loaded with this mod causes the player to do 0 damage for a while, haven't tested much but after some time the damage comes back to normal, its just in the beggining.
Hm... Perhaps it depends on the settings chosen then, I changed a few options like weapons trails, enabled hardcore stealth, increased the headshot damage and nerfed the Giant's health.
here is another bug if you start a new game with the loader activated : in helgen dungeon, it tends to trigger ennemy behavior too early, for example: the female captain and her follower get to the locked gate before ralof. A little bit further in the room with fireplace, you find the two imperials already fighting two stormcloaks. and finally, you can't pass the bear in stealth because it's already awake and is waiting near the cart with bottles. PS: it's not a big deal for me as i play UC with default settings, and besides, i DON'T have the bug with 0 dammage. i really appreciate the whole series, these mods were much needed. i hope you make Bettter vampires and Moonlight tales soon!
these past few months ive been working on my LO with700 plugins. i never get chance to play skyrim quest even never meet jarl barlgruf quest just trying to mod and make all of them compatible also trying making some scripts which makes new game always happen. i just want to say thankyou for ur settings loader mods. it was very very essential to me
sorry for the delay, that's the link. the mod itself works fine, it is only the lycanthropy infection, it is too slow to infect npc, so I wanted to see if it could increase the infection to 100.
Glad, UC now have Setting Loader. But unfortunately there's conflict with 'Inpa Sekiro Combat - Ultimate Combat Compatible Patch'. Can you make that version?
You're spoiling us with this series! Thanks- it's such a great addition!
Would it be possible to mark the mods that have settings loader in the MCM so you can tell which mods have settings loader and which don't? I considered something like adding a symbol like "*" or whatever at the end each mods MCM .JSON "name", but that would disappear if the mod is updated, I think. Could it somehow be tagged onto the settings loader mod?
(Apologies in advance if my question is stupid or doesn't make sense- I'm far less knowledgeable on these things than I would like to be.)
Hi, I think such a function is possible but troublesome, it's not easy to say that the mod has Settings Loader without extra variables in any MCM script or some kind of database. But I think I can make a mod that will allow you to hide the MCM you want so you can only see the ones you need to configure.

I'm not sure, but it's possible that with a lot of scripts, some modifications are initialized later.
I have the same problem, here my ini setting :

This was the hardest bug to understand I've seen so far... and the easiest to fix.
I'm not using the hardcore damage. On my existing save the damage is ok, but on a new save the damage is still 0
Screen issue on new save
My friend who are using the hardcore option still have the issue on a new save :/
I'll check it again.
While I'm trying to unravel this error, try disabling and enabling the mod in the options.
Try using auto-attack and look on damage again.

Thank you for the link, I sent a modification request to InpaSkyrim, as soon as he allows me to modify it I will add a patch.
