    FinalCatalyst has been hard at work and has now released version 4.0.0 of the expansion patches. The changelog for it is huge, as it's quite a large update. For instance, how summons are distributed strong vs weak willed has been redone, creatures have been standardized across mods (so every mod that adds Minotaurs for example will all receive the same traits), and a load of other bugs have been fixed. There's a ton of new files, while some old ones that aren't relevant anymore have been removed.

    Will this patch keep updated with new creatures released by Mihail and other authors?

    I know KYE2 is already out but I will keep KYE1 redux do not mess my my load order. Also, KYE1 Redux has Elemental patches for Elemental Destruction, Sun Spells and Shadow Spell Package.

      I've had a lot of IRL changes that have slowed development considerably, but for the near future I do plan to keep adding new patches for KYE1

    I'd like to apologize to anybody that has been anticipating a new release for these patches. I bought and moved into a new house and had a baby. Real life has been pretty hectic and with a newborn I don't have nearly as much time in a day as I'd like. While I wouldn't necessarily say an official update is off the table, I also wouldn't necessarily hold my breath waiting for one.

      No. All patches need to be fully rebuilt for KYE2. For now you need to choose between KYE2 for its features, or KYE1 for compatibility.

    If anyone wants to use a DISTR file for Mihail's combined Draugr Patrols and Cavlary mod, I've created a template.

    Name the file:

      This, as well as Mihail's other available mods without patches are on my list to complete. If it's ok with you, I will likely just take this version of the file, make sure nothing was missed and that it matches up with the sort of "standard" with the other files (looks fine to me at first glance!) and credit you with it's creation. One note though: you have to remove the semi-colon in front of the perk you want applied. Any text after the semi-colon is ignored, so with this current version of the file, the traits still wouldn't get distributed because they are being ignored.

      Can you distribute KYE 2 to mihail's mods too? The author said he if I recalled it right don't have a plan to make patches for his KYE2 but will support those who want to make it.

      Aetherius just edits the playable races and doesn't add new races or edits creatures. On this basis a patch should not be needed - any reason you think one would be?

      tjhm4 is correct. Aetherius only edits existing RACE records, so no patch is needed.

    Will we need a patch for Natura - Spriggans or will the existing Natura patch suffice?

      The RACE records still live in the Natura main mod, so the existing patch will still work correctly.

    hey there tjhm4, just wanted to let you know of a couple new mods that are getting lots of traction and hopefully you would consider adding support for them first is Lawless and the other is Dareniis new volcanic spells

      Thanks! It’s final catalyst who deserves your thanks though as they do all the patch creation. For those two mods nothing is needed. The vulcano spells will automatically be classed as fire spells, and lawless adds a single new armor that will count as Nordic.

    #1 so i seem to be having an issue, the Spell "inspect Creature" doesn't seem to work on the Samps, Imps, from the Mihail Mods.
    it worked on the Minorure{cant spell it} but ya there seems to be some issue with the Inspect Creature Spell.
    and ive run several test & doesn't seem like any other mods is interfering, so not sure what's wrong, i do think they have the Attrubute/Traits i just dont know them from spell.

    #2 would you be able to Add the new  Skytest Redux 2022 Mod?

      What goes wrong with the scamps/imps? Do they still glow green? Does the pop-up appear?

      sorry no, when ever i cast spell it just reads "no traits known" or something like that.
      doesn't happen to all of them & i need to Further Test it with other Creatures.
      but it happens to the Imp by the Gardian Stones at the Beginning & the Scamps in the Helgan Cave.
      it also doesn't Work on the Spider in that cave either.

      1.) Can you post a pastebin or something similar of your load order? And also the expansion patches you are currently using? I want to make sure they match up correctly. You can verify they have the traits with More Informative Console by selecting the creature and expanding the perk section (mouse over the perk section and hit the left CTRL button).

      i can try, i have over 750 mods, so a decent large load order. ive always wanted someone to help me go over it & tweak it cause im not an expert, but ive never been able to figure out how to d oa Pastebin of them all without wrting each one down which could take a very long time.

      any tips how to get a Paste bin of my Load order? i use MO2.

      If you right click in the left pane and hover over the "All Mods" option, a new sub-menu should open with an "export to csv" option. You can then be sure only "mod name" is selected, proceed, and then copy the output and paste it wherever you'd like.

      Awesome, thank you. I'm still a noob at this...even tho i'v been a it for 2yrs HAHA
      I got the exact idea of what I want in my Skyrim, more world to explore, more creatures to fight, and survival elements & a new level up.
      i never cared for too much Fancy looks or Outfits &/or Adult mods....just pretty enough to be current gen look.

      Did you use xEdit to add the ESL flag to the mihailscamp.esp file? That would be the only thing I could think of, assuming you do, in fact, have the expansion patch installed correctly.

      Also have you used more informative console (linked above) to verify they have the traits at all, and it's the spell that's misbehaving?

      thankfully i havent ESL flagged any of himods, most of them are already ESL with the exception of a few of his Armor mods.
      as for the Expansion PAtches, its pretty self reliant and already Highlights the mods i have installed, so i dont really need to do anything else except makle sure they have priority over the other stuff.

      ill try the MIC thing here in a bit when i have time.
      its not too big of a deal, like i said I'm pretty sure they HAVE the Traits, it just doesn't show them when i used the spell.
      (i confirmed this because Spell worked on a different imp in another location, so i used non effective stuff on the one the spell didn't recognize and compared)
