Hey, thanks for the patch, I've been looking for something like this :)
Do you know if it conflicts/doesn't work with my combination of mods/patches?
I'm mainly asking because of the patch between Origins of Forest and Folkvangr:

I also want to add 'Grass FPS Booster' to my modlist. Any experience with it?:

and one last thing, do you know if '3D forest grass reduced' still work with the latest versions?

TMGP works with pretty much everything since it just redraws certain grass areas with other soil types. NOW if these other mods add grass to soil types that should not, for example, put grass on sandy roads or soil, then YES you may get grass clipping there but technically, there should be absolutely no problems.

    Hello Friend:)
I wonder if your mod can work with QW's Grass Patch 2?

    Thank you.

If possible, can you look at the road leading to Falkreath? For some reason its just PACKED with flora to the point it becomes slightly unnerving

There are many roads leading there, I'll assume that you are talking about the main road shown on the map. It would help me for you to post a screenshot of your position on the map so I can have a good idea where to walk. I have already a few areas to touchup again. I'm slowly getting back to Skyrim. I will definately take a look into that. Unfortunately, I cannot set a time-frame yet but it is noted. Thank you VERY much for your comment!!!!

I guess this is a positive comment for this patch? I'm still trying to finalise a last mod on Minecraft before I get back into Skyrim and update all of my mods and this one is also part of the mods to be updated. But I do hear you, OoF is an excellent mod but also disturbs LOTS of other things and messes up other good nature mods. Thanks for your feedback

Origin just had a new release 1.4.8, not sure if we need an update for this?

    THANKS

If the author kept the same ESP file name, there should be no problem of compatibility since I simply redraw land spaces in the areas covered. So compatibility should not be an issue but if there is a problem, I will update. If you encounter anything, please do not hesitate to post a comment here. Thanks for the info

If this is installed for Origin, will the ENB Complex Grass mod still work?

    I also have this mod installed too;

Origins Of Forest - 3D Forest Grass Reduced at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

    THANKS

OoF TMGP is compatible with pretty much everything. All it does is repaint the ground textures, it does not change anything, no scripts, no calcuations or mesh change, just ground repaints so yes, it will still work. This patch is highly compatible, just be sure to load it last in your grass and ground mods and patches.

      Happy modding and happy gaming

Ok, I'm using the less saturated/darker version of Origin, maybe that's the problem, because I see nothing changed when Complex Grass is enabled.

      THANKS

This is not working if I use Veydosebrom, but it was working ok with Tamrielic Grass. I don't understand why Veydosebrom should cause an issue here. hmm

I also loaded Origin and this patch below Veydosebrom, giving it priority to overwrite.

Should Origins and this patch be installed when generating a grass cache?

Here's a screen shot, with the bushes taller than the NPC, I'm buried in them, and the horse in front of me, also buried in the bushes, with Veydosebrom.

I have created a complete guide for moding Skyrim where I mention Veydosebrom and what to install here CBM Guide. But to get this short and not let you search in my long list of mods for nothing, I think you should follow the instruction provided in this patch here QW's Grass Patch - Veydosebrom Regions - Folkvangr - Cathedral - Depths of Skyrim. This mod is a great patch for major grass mods I use BUT, of course, you need to install the grass mods this patch covers. And finally, OoF TMGP should be loaded LAST after all grass mods AND all grass patches.

I also suggest this mod which is also covered in my CBM Guide if you did not yet install it: Origins Of Forest - 3D Forest Grass Reduced

I hope this helps. Give me news about your tries.

I am using these settings for Veydosebrom, if Dense is what you are talking about, it's not working.

      FOMOD Options:
        - Mod Manager: Select the one you are using
        - Vegetation Quality: Select "High Quality"
        - Style: Select "Dense Landscape"
        - Grass Desity: Select "Dense"

Is there something else needed for Veydosebrom?

Origins Of Forest - 3D Forest Grass Reduced, worked with Veydosebrom... hmm

The tall grass you are seeing is NOT Veydosebrom, it's Origins of Forest. That's why I created my patch. Though, this patch I did does NOT reduce plant sizes but rather REMOVES grass in some areas where there should not be any such as the Lakeview Manor crafting area. You use the reduce plant size from the other mod I listed to effectively be able to navigate in the forests of Tamriel without loosing your horse and yourself AND be able to snipe Sprigans and other creatures without being blinded by tall plant shrubs. But yes, Veydosebrom is NOT responsible of that big plant size, that's really Origins of Forest.

I used Origins Of Forest - 3D Forest Grass Reduced and now the plants are smaller.

Between this mod and that one, it's confusing, "To much grass", Reduce grass, these imply the same meanings, just written a different way.

And I swear I saw smaller plants using this mod before... LOL

      THANKS

No, this mod does not just REDUCE grass. You need to combine BOTH mods. The too much grass patch means that in some areas I have even removed grass all together. The grass reduce mod simply makes the plants smaller. Here's a clear example to help you understand.

If in the are there was PineGrass01 texture painted on the ground, Origins of Forest will have put shrubs and other taller grasses.

MY mod, OoF TMGP, will replace PineGrass01 by PineGrass02 which Origins of Forest does not replace with taller shrubs. So I will have removed the PineGrass01 texture from certain areas to paint PineGrass02 textures instead.

The reduce size mod which I also suggested will KEEP the PineGrass01, it does absolutely NO repaintings, it simply uses Origins of Forests initial 3D plants and reduces their sizes.

This is why I suggest both mods because they both do totally different jobs.

On top of this, I only cover specific areas and not the entire Tamriel while as the reduce grass size mod touches every single place in the game that Origins of Forests touches. So, you need both mods with proper grass mod combinations, and trust me, that's a real pain, I litterally spent 2 years figuring out which grass mods to combine to c=ome up with something I deam, acceptable and good to the eye. So both mods are needed, hope this explanation helped you understand more. Please don't hesitate to comment again...Cheers :)

Yes! This does not touche the textures but simply changes grass ground covers from the Vanilla game and places. This mod ALSO does NOT replace anything from the original mod. So YES, it will work fine with which ever OoF version you use.

I tried an upload for XB1 using CreationKit on Bethesda.net. I don't know if it will work so let me know. I do not own an XBOX and I cannot test it. Just let me know. Hopefully, it does not require anything else since it is just an ESP file.
