Q: Please patch for x weather? A: I don’t play SSE and don’t really have time to patch the numerous variations of weather out there but it’s very easy to do yourself.
Quick instructions for patching your weather mod: 1) Load both mods up in tesedit, your weather mod and the vanilla stardust one (load your weather mod after stardust) 2) Right click, apply filter to show conflicts. 3) Open skyrim stardust's weather heading 4) look at list of weathers, and if they conflict with your weather mod (usually highlighted in red) 5) Drag the conflicts across (if stardust is loaded before your weather mod you can drag the precipitation type across.
If your weather mod adds entirely new weathers and doesn’t show vanilla at all you can add the precipitation (stardust) type to new weathers easily. It’s a drop down heading in tesedit.
Q: Please add this to certain weathers? A: I added this to the weathers I saw fit. In too many weathers I found it annoying. You can add it to a particular weather by changing the precipitation type.
This is a very cool little mod. It changes the weather's atmosphere a lot. I loved the look of the stardust floating around during the daytime in areas with a ton of trees and plants. It almost looks like the plants are sending out seeds that float in the wind. It's really pretty. Thanks for a cool mod!
Unfortunately this didn't work for me because I found the dust to be too thick and looked like snow and I like my weather mod lol. I would've also preferred if there were more options to tweak thickness, colour and what weathers it occurs in. I obviously still endorsed though because I think this is just such a cool idea. I love the one small change can totally change the look and feel of the game and it's quite unique
If you have vanilla weather then you'll see stardust. If you have a weather mod, but you load this before the weather mod, you'll never see stardust. If you load this after your weather mod, you'll see stardust but not the weather from the weather mod. So you have to make a patch to combine them both to see stardust with your weather mod.
This is awesome, I love this mod! Could I possibly get your permission to port this to Xbox one? You would get full credit and links back to your page of course <3
