    Is this compatible with Northern Vanilla Farmhouses and Spaghetti's mods?

      It should be with Northern Vanilla Farmhouses, since that only replaces the meshes, for Spaghetti you'll need a patch.

    I love this mod.  The turf houses, the red wood textures, the coziness of everything, it's just so perfect. 

    But... there is a slight problem.  Two of them, in fact.  In Whiterun.

    These two problems have curved swords (Curved! Swords!), and they meet you in Whiterun at one point and then say "we will be in Rorikstead if you find anything."

    Except with this mod installed, no, they won't.  They will stand there, inside Whiterun's main gate, where the guard told them to get lost, and where nobody seems to care that they're loitering around, forever... unless I uninstall this mod.  Then and only then will they actually go to Rorikstead. 

    Which is an awful shame because that cozy turf inn is so much more inviting than standing on a busy road in that glorious Skyrim weather, day and night, rain and snow, for all eternity, like living statues. 

    Beyond those two idiots issues, and maybe a landscape seam or two which load order will probably take care of, it's perfect.

      No problem.  I like having variety in my TES games.  Having every building look exactly the same gets old after 13 years of playing.

      I think I was wrong.  Sorry.

      I just got done talking to the Redguard dudes in Whiterun, and they turned around and left.  Only difference I can tell atm is that I have your mod without the Enhanced version installed.

    Anyone know of a mod that replaces the farmhouses added by the CC addon Farming to this style? I figured it is in such close proximity to Rorikstead that it would have the same style of buildings. Thanks so much for your hard work RedBag, your mods are some of my absolute favourites!

    does anyone know if there is a patch for goldenhills plantation to use the architecture of Red bag's rorikstead somewhere?

      This is actually the only reason (besides the Redguards not going to Rorikstead) I haven't used it for my main playthrough. The inconsistency kills me. It's such a beautiful mod and with all its patches, it just works really well.

      I hope a modder is willing to make a patch, though it's probably pretty difficult to do.

    Bro this mod is so beautiful, I have never seen a village mod that gives so much immersion, but I have an issue.
    The vanilla Rorikstead also appears when im far away from the town. Even if I only have this mod activated, and I remove all the others. Is there a solution? Otherwise the mod is just perfect, thank you RedBag <3 i love your works.

      You need to generate new LODs with SSELODGen or Dyndolod, glad you like the mod!

    Loving this mod so much, but I have run into a WEIRD issue whose source I cannot track down: for some reason, this mod puts giant rocks in the middle of every vanilla inn door (and Lund's hut). It's easy enough to get around with just a quick disable to the object in question, but wow does it look strange! XD

      Yeah, your mod was the last major landscape editing mod I installed this playthrough so it was one of the first things I checked once I figured out it was a widespread thing and not just an issue with one particular inn, and when the mod is installed the rocks are there; when it's gone, so are the rocks. Doesn't matter whether I'm running any Rorikstead patches with it or not.

      I assume it's some weird incompatibility with something else I have running, but xedit did not help me track down what, alas!

      It seems something changes your North Marker, i'm guessing you'll see these rocks in a lot more interiors. But i'd like to know the info on the bottom right corner of your console.

      Oh my apologies, I've never actually used More Informative Console before, and I didn't realize that the bottom section of that gave different information from the other part! So I've learned something very helpful today — two things, in fact: it isn't actually this mod, but rather my own general-compatibility-patch, that is the last thing to modify the NorthMarker and cause those rocks to appear.

      So when I have this mod enabled but my patch disabled, they don't show up. But they also only show up with both that patch and your mod enabled...despite the fact that I don't even edit this mod with that patch! So who knows WHAT'S going on in my game right now lmao.

      Mystery solved then, that was a funny one :)  I'm sure you'll be able to delete the north marker edit in xedit. Enjoy the mod!

    Absolutely gorgeous design! It's so cohesive I swear I can almost smell it. Makes me want to just wander around Rorikstead enjoying the scenery! Quests, what quests? I have earthen walls and thatch to admire! No time for quests here, bah!

    btw, does anyone know if there's been a patch made yet for this and WiZkiD Lund's Hut?

    Hello everyone, I have problems with navmesh, specifically with a guard who gets stuck at a winnowing machine during a patrol round, and problems with a rogrik who gets stuck when leaving his house or when returning from the fields. These are little things, but they really spoil the impression =( I moved the mod to the end of the download and the problem did not disappear, as I understand it, the problems are not in compatibility but in the mod itself. Please tell me, are you planning to make a patch that improves the operation of navmeshes?

      I found out that this occurs due to the cc pets patch =)
