Ok, for anyone who lost this mod with the Dreaded 1130 Update, I have managed to get it working again (somewhat):
    First I installed this:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62423

Then I had to do the Custom Skills Framework 'fix' listed here see the post by Azhrael
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41780?tab=bugs

I now access all of the skill menus, but at least I am able to. If you only have one character you could try to only fix the one race you are playing. YMMV

Hope this helps others, or if you improve upon it please share!

Have you find a way to make it so you access only your character race? 1170 hit me pretty hard with my modlist...

I think you can use the mcm to hide others, but for me it doesn't show which is which, so I just scroll to the one I am using.

Hi. Thanks for these perk trees. Love it!
If I want to hide the config's except for the race im playing, to keep my custom skill menus to a minimum, would the spid ini still distribute the perks to other races than my own in the game?

after taking 3 ranks in nord racial skill tree, my frost resistance is still listed as 50% from the base nord racial. normal to not display correctly or...is it not actually adding anything?

I have an issue where the menu asking me to choose the speed of perk gain is showing again from time to time and another book is added to my inventory
any idea about this? I'm using 1.6.640 btw

Never seen that happen before, are you adding mods in the middle of your game?

Nop, actually I'm testing my setup mod by mod the best I can starting new game each time(with all my mods active of course) and I just noticed that

I seems it was some isolated issue because it just stopped, so don't mind it

Since the dreaded Update to 1130 I have not been able to access the perk trees. I will get the initial window for what speed I want the racial xp to advance, but opening and closing the Book does not bring up the tree.

I am guessing that Custom Skills Framework hasn't been updated - is there any other way to open the perk tree?

Hi! Sorry for the potentially silly question, but what precisely does
You can still work it out by using the "set idrinthRacialSkillMenu[RACE] to 1"

mean? I've tried running it as a command, but that only caused a response of Unknown variable 'idrinthRacialSkillMenu'

I'm needing it because im using both SkyrimSouls and this mod.

Thanks in advance for any help, even if that help is simply "You'll have to choose between SkyrimSouls and this mod" - if that's the case, I understand

hi, it's not a silly question. You were meant to replace the [RACE] with your own race. If you use "help idrinthRacialSkillMenu" you will see them all listed :)

      Ahhh, I see. Thanks!

On a different unrelated note, I got it working In AE via Custom Skills Menu, with the only drawback I've come across being that it lists all racial trees rather than just the on you're playing, although the MCM for that mod allows for hiding of trees, so for people who are playing in AE they could use that method to manually limit the trees they have access to. Not really sure if there's anything that can be done to streamline that at all, but I thought I'd pass on the info in case its useful to you at all!

      Thanks again for the mod!

so typically you'd only have access to the skill tree for your race I would imagine?  But yah, custom skill menu unlocks em all... any way to add a condition somewhere?

yes, if you use the original custom skill framework that works fine, including in AE ;)

Essentially the max number of perks in each tree is 21?  These are all awarded by play time, essentially after 210 hours you'd have unlocked them all?

Also would the vampire and werewolf stuff stack ok with the various overhauls? such as growl and sacrilege

And, can this be ESL flagged like other custom skill framework mods?  Tried it myself but got "MESG:F3037097] has invalid ObjectID 037097 for a light module. "

    thx!

      yes, no, yes.

The duration for all perks is higher, since the duration for a perk point is increased each time.

would I need to make a patch for Growl / Sacrilege / Tails of the Berserkyr? Or better off disabling the racial skill trees if using those overhauls?

you are fine just leaving all run side by side, they don't interfere with each other

Imperial's learned perk seems very lackluster compared to every other race where they get a % increase to a stats they use very often instead of being super situational. Maybe increase experience gained per level if you want to have something similar. I also use the mod book 'em that changes skill books functions so its also just useless in my modlist anyways.

I agree, will have a look at fixing this, likely replacing it completely with sommething else.

Fantastic mod Idrinth, and one of its kind! When are you going to expand upon it and update it?? Or do u consider it feature complete? Im going to start a new playthrough after a long time, and wanna use it. Thanks again for all your mods!

Hi, it's not feature complete. I just started a new job (as well as freelancing) and can't estimate how it ends up work hour wise. This mod is third on my ToDo-List right now:
      - Idrinth Thalui (Next version ~90% done)
      - Speaking Weapons (Next version ~40% done}
      - Racial Skills
      - Autopatcher
      - Shout From The Start

I love this mod, fantastic, however I'm noticing that with my race skill of Altmer it doesn't tell me what's required for the next set of perks. It'll just say what I have in the skill tree itself but doesn't tell me what's required to unlock perks. I hope I can unlock the later perks. Do you know how many levels it takes to unlock the different perks in the racials skills?

They are all setup to require the previous perks as far as I recall. Can double check if that is not the case - sadly haven't had time to expand upon this mod recently.

Love the idea of an overtime, passive upgrade to attributes. At first I thought they were a bit small but I think it works fine considering everything else you can get with other ovehauls you'd probably use along this one. If I could have one suggestion though, would you be interested in making a patch for Classical Lichdom? Since there are already Vampire and Werewolf perks, I'd love have one for Liches too!
