Can this be used together with Dark Forests of Skyrim? As DFOS edits most of Skyrim, it is probable that both mods edit the same cells. Really like this idea!
Depends on your load order. I never used DFOS so you will have to experiment. Although it’s likely that you don’t need this mod with DFOS since it seems to already make most trees dead.
Going to try it nevertheless, your mod increases the death ratio around evil places. So, we'll have concentrated death instead of relatively universally distributed death :P
Sorry for letting you wait so long, I didn't get notified that there was a reply.
While I haven't visited every location this mod touches, there were no conflicts with what I've seen until now. This mod, in fact, does not add trees, but replaces the vanilla living trees with the dead ones, so there will be no clipping with DFOS. However, there may be a location where DFOS adds more living trees. These would not be covered by this mod and require a patch. I haven't found such a location yet, though
if Im reading correctly, any tree mod that replaces all the tree models should use the correct model from that mod, as it just swaps out which tree is being used but it doesnt select a specific asset or anything. idk about happy little trees, but i use traverse the ulvenwald and that does have models for dead trees, so it would use the ulvenwald trees. Havent tested yet though
this mod is the first hint of what is missing in most video games, sensible combinations that create atmosphere... like this mod does: it changes the environment by harmonizing it with the location
