Mod conflict: The perk Nimble Fingers seems to intervene with Simply Knock (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14098?tab=description) in combination with mod "Just Knock - Simply Knock Dynamic Activation Key patch" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103004?tab=description), when the door is locked at Novice level. The Bypass/Pick menu appears and the SimplyKnock event is cancelled. Removing the perk fixes that. Does anyone know of a patch or a solution to fix this?
I wanted to reset the pickpocketing perks after defeating miraak and assign them to something else, but somehow it literally reset the whole mod, all the perks are default now
I really like how this mod makes lockpicking harder without investment in those skills. So far I'm having a lot of difficulty sneaking effectively and gaining levels in it; I guess I'll just have to persevere.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the lockpicking aspect! Sneaking can be challenging at first, but as you do start leveling it, I expect you'll find it progresses more quickly. But we'd any appreciate any additional feedback!
OK so having used this mod for 20+ levels now, as a thief, my first comment still remains actually the same. - This mod makes Lockpicking much harder, but in a good way, as you must invest in lockpicking skills (which is as it should be). Love it. - Pickpocketing is challenging but fair. Again I think this mod's changes are good here. - Sneaking is... there's something not quite right here. Moving even extremely slowly in shadow, NPCs spot me from a long way out. On the other hand, crouching still they cannot see me at all even walking right next to me (and sometimes bumping off me!) I've found it impossible to sneak up behind people even taking great care. So in summary I'd (respectfully) ask that you have another look at the sneaking part if you can find the time.
NB: this is using Vokrii and the patch, if it matters. Sneak skill is about 38 (it's not levelling up very quickly for some reason?)
Thanks for the feedback! I think the challenges you're experiencing with sneaking are more than likely tied to the Vokrii patch, as I don't recall it being that challenging with this mod alone. But I'll do some testing with and without the patch, and adjust things accordingly.
It would probably benefit from a small patch (which I'll look at as time permits), but if you load Adamant after this mod, they should be mostly compatible.
We don't have any plans to at this time. SSR was originally published over a decade ago (wow!), and if you looked at kryptopyr's other early Skyrim mods, you can see she's partial to stealth & thievery-based gameplay. At the same time, in addition to general perk overhauls, there's also a lot of combat and magic overhauls, and I'm not sure we have anything unique to add that isn't already covered elsewhere.
I guess the obvious question is, what would like to/expect to see in such hypothetical mods?
Oh my god. I installed this mod and found myself walking past the master grade chest. This is a really challenging level of difficulty. I've been playing this game for years, but it's the first time I've chosen to play lockpicking perk.
I have a question about how this mod handles the Conditioning perk. In Vanilla, as far as I know, Conditioning among the other effects negates the 10% movement speed penalty from wearing heavy armor. Does this mod also keep it this way?
The 10% movement speed penalty from wearing heavy armor is either incredibly poorly documented and/or was patched out of the game at some point; most of the information I can find on it is from 2011 or 2012.
What I can tell you is that the Conditioning perk record in Skyrim.esm only applies the armor weight change, so if there is a movement penalty which is being negated by having the perk, that's being handled somewhere else (my best guess would be at the engine level, as there's no other references to the perk in Skyrim.esm). In which case, I would expect it to continue to function as normal, as this mod is only modifying the perk itself.

Sorry I should have said, I using this too: ENB Light Detection Fix at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
Main issue is that; crouching still (not moving) I'm invisible even in a lit room. However the slightest movement even in shadow and they spot me from miles away.
