really nice addition, works well with dawn of skyrim. im finding that when i go back to my chest though, my game crashes. doesnt happen with the end table or dresser, was working for a few in game weeks. may be a different mod conflicting, will let you know if i find out more
did some more testing, uninstalled everything i installed since it last worked and went back to a save from when i had accessed it without leaving house, still freezing my game. checked other chests, not doing the same thing.
Thanks for letting me know. You said this was after it being fine for a few in-game weeks, how long had you been playing that save in real-time? I'll have a look around for chests causing crashes, it might be a specific chest in the CK that causes crashes after it resets.
I was using the Wabbajack modlist QWEST! for these screenshots, which comes with an optional tweaked version of Zangdar's Rudy Cathedral. I've never used that on its own but I'd assume it'd look either the same or really similar
Well, i'm downloading this because i wanna start a new playtrhought and this mod comes really handy.
I'm also very happy of being able to spot things to help you improve your mod and/or modding skills (i mean like a tester, i tried to mod Fallout NV once and it didn't went well.)
I just downloaded this mods on the strength of your answer to the FAQ. Excellent. I am, as they say, a noob to mods (~3 months), and have been slowly "house-hunting" especially for the EARLY game. Somewhere to chill in between escaping Helgen and 'acquiring' enough gold to buy/fix up a permanent base juuuust the way I like it. Also looking to study other mods, get ideas, make my own home, possibly probably needing help and tips along the way. BTW, will keep an eye on the tree and the skybox.
I'm tracking this for now. I can't remember the name of the mod off the top of my head. But, it's a turned over boat, converted into a camp site along the river, just outside Whiterun. That to me seems more realistic. My character eventually joins the Companions. Even though they provide a place to sleep. She's to feral for city life. I think I can fit this home into my characters story. It would end up being her 2nd home and her 1st official residents in Skyrim. The motivation could be weather and having something of value stolen. At the time, it's what was available and what she could afford. Later, she could turn around and sell it, before upgrading to Breezehome.
At the moment I am nearing the conclusion of my current play through. I plan on taking a couple buildings out and then place this one, before starting over.
I like how in ESO, there is a small, medium and large home. It would make more sense, that your first home would be smaller and simpler. The Jarl permits you to purchase property. That doesn't mean you can afford a house right away. Inns should at least rent out a couple apartments. Maybe we should be able to barter with the Inn Keeper for work, with exchange for room and board. Chopping wood, serving costumers, bouncer, cooking, mercenary work or become a bounty hunter.
It's a great little home! Appreciate the compatibility with Dawn of Skyrim as well! Hope you create more for the other cities, they'd be a perfect addition for those of us who dig the more "humble adventurer" playthroughs. =D

"Absurdity has become necessity."
