Another quick release for all the bards out there!
Version 1.1 - Removed Imperial Logo from Lute Headstock - Added unique textures for Bard's College Quest items Finn's Lute, Pantea's Flute & Rjorn's Drum. The .esp (ESL flagged) is required to access these as they have no unique model in-game.
Optional - Added a wearable patch for "Become a Bard" - Added a wearable patch for "All Geared Up Derivative" & "Skyrim's Got Talent" (Not required if you don't have AllGud)
The instruments look so nice as static objects. Unfortunately, I can't see them when my character is playing them with Skyrim's Got Talent. I don't know why; all the NPCs have visible instruments when they play, but my character just gets "air lute." Still using the mod, but I wish I could see my character holding them. I haven't been able to find any mod conflicts that would explain this. My guess is there is some issue tied to the animation files.
No, no custom race. I can see the drum at least if I uninstall this mod, I don't have a lute to check with on this current playthrough. The flute still acts funny, but possibly because I have the XPMSE flute animation fix installed. I've tried everything that I can think of to fix it, load order, xedit checks, manual installation. The only thing that made a dent was uninstalling this mod (for the drum at least).
EDIT: Hmmm, I can't get the drum to reappear again after uninstalling this again. I wonder why it popped up once? So confusing... Oh well, thanks for the attempts to assist!
As for the regular ones, are you using IED? It's a longshot since I don't even know how SGT works exactly, but you might have conditions which make the node invisible (right hand, left hand, shield, or whatever). Also makes sense that your drum showed up once if you weren't under the same exact conditions as a previous attempt.
I know you have stated that you do not believe in doing the load screens for these but I would like to ask again because the Legacy of the Dragonborn display uses the loadscreen meshes, which means the display shows the old flute, drum, and lute. These look too good to not be on display.
I don't usually touch loading screens because I think it's unnecessary to load in high quality models/textures just to dump them immediately afterwards
I really love this mod. I cannot stop watching my lute. <3 I always turn around and watch the light reflecting on this beautiful instrument! Thank you very much!
Any chance for a more unique look of "The Dancer's Flute" found in Calixto's House of Curiosities ? I know the story about the flute is possible just a lie Calixto tells everyone visiting his museum, but a unique look would make people think it is the true Dancer's Flute just to get their money. Or maybe it is the real one, he also is in the possession of the real Necromancer's Amulet...so who knows
Sweet! Playing a Bard right now. Thank you kindly :-) Any chance for a patch for Wearable Bards Lute? I know it's not SE, but I ported it myself and would just love to see your textures on my Bard's back :-)
