Just a heads up, if you want the Shrine Module and have JK's Temple of the Divines, you may need to use no-clip to get it. I have to go straight down through the floor near the shrines.
On a technical level it's just a holding cell for things the mod needs to keep track of without them being visible to the player. It's just there to show that Fyr Manor isn't part of Skyrim, or really of Tamriel.
Yeah I love everything else about this mod but was looking forward to actually seeing where the locked doors would take me or if there were any additional quests/ Easter eggs to uncover. So I was disappointed when I found that out but overall like everything else about this mod.
Please stop posting this on every single trainwiz mod, it makes it very hard for me since I get notified every time there’s a new post.
there’s no real reason to make these mods esms because they’re so small, so I doubt you’ll get any answers. The only one that would benefit is wheels of lull, which is already an esm.
All I can say is I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s not worth it and likely to break things.
if your load order has so many mods as to be actually unstable, you have bigger problems that won’t be fixed by just making everything esms.
So you didn't visit the link. I don't blame you we're all busy. Skyrim has a reference edit limit of about 1.04 Million. My load order currently exceeds that. Does it have other problems? Probably does. I'll fix those when they come up, but first I have to fix this one. Every mod with >5000 reference edit is getting converted to an ESM or deleted. It may not sound like a lot to you, but it does add up.
I'm probably wrong, but based off everything I've read on this over the last 48hrs, the overwhelming majority of instability in large load orders is likely cause by exceeding the reference edit limit.
I don’t know if it works as an esm, it might, it might not, but it’s not intended to be an esm so who knows.
in my experience with large load orders it is only a very small minority of cases where crashes are caused by reference limit and if you're close to the limit I'd really recommend cleaning out mods you don't really need anyway. Less is more imo.
but even if you do I would *strongly* discourage adding the esl flag as well, that will cause the esl cell bug in many cases.
Also, make sure you have SSE Engine Fixes installed and have your maxStdio limit adjusted. On windows 10 you can set it to 8192. That's a more common cause of stability issues with big load orders than the ref limit.
That's exactly what I'm going to do. Except that last part. I was completely unaware of that. I'm going to go figure out what is and then do it. The "maxStdio limit adjusted" that is. Thank you!
No problem, I hope that helps. download SSE engine fixes (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230), the maxstdio setting is in EngineFixes.toml. Default is 512 in vanilla Skyrim and SSE engine fixes raises it to 2048 (maximum possible in windows 7) but you can go to 8192 with no issues as long as you’re on windows 8 or newer.
Don't bother to convert to ESM. Just use Ruddy88 ESLify to convert any ESP to ESL, if it meets the criteria. Please stop bugging mod authors for ESL version, when you can create it yourself using such a tool.

I'm trying to reduce my reference handles to stabilize my load order.

use the Esmifyer xedit script (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28046) to check esm capability if you want.
