Desaturated textures by thegildedmagpie are now up! They're in Optional Files, just use them to replace the regular cape textures in the textures folder. They also made a Bear cape, which I have added to the main mod in v1B (for Bear), it also has a desaturated version
Okay, so it is technically still Pride Month so here's some new capes! Also, to avoid clutter the recipes for all capes in the mod are now hidden unless you have a Rainbow Amulet in your inventory. It can be made at a forge with a gold necklace and a small pearl.
I can't put into words how happy it made me to find this mod on my one final check of the nexus before beginning my run, and especially to see agender included, as well as so many others!!! Thank you so much for making this <3 I hope you're doing great
AHOY! sooooooo one YAY! thank you for adding more LGBTQ content into Skyrim! Its good to see mods that have survived Trolls and worse, and yours iis by far one of the most comprehensive queer addons as far as representation! Two......... Like, How do I get a rainbow necklace? I know it just says "Gold and a pear" Well... Ive been playing for, about 60 hours so far, at level 30, often having malachite and Black soul gems showing up in shops to buy outright... But never a single pear.. AND its never showed up as random loot either, like, I have a trunk FULL of necklaces from silver to gold to gem necklaces... but never a singal rainbow necklace.
I know you said you can get one from console commands... but... eh... I suck at trying to use those :C
Thanks for the kind words! I tried to include as many flags as I could, but there are a LOT. So it's working ok for you now?
The rainbow necklace isn't in leveled lists, it's crafting only. I tried to make it easy to get but I may have underestimated how rare pearls are XD Apparently you can get them from pearl oysters that are on the beach on Solstheim Or to get it with the console, search 'help CapeaAmulet', and it should show you an ID, and then type in 'player.additem [the number it shows] [number of necklaces you want]' Hope this helps :)
Maybe not celebrated, but definitely exists without seemingly any homophobia, since you can just marry anyone as anyone and nobody bats an eye when you have your cutesy mage waifu and her buff stronglady wife Mjoll walts into Windhelm to shout at some racis- stormcloaks
Considerando que incluso razas como las Argonianas tienen un género que puede cambiar a lo largo de su vida y que la persona puede casarse con cualquiera sin importar su género, no creo que Nirn tenga un problema con la diversidad sexual.
Indeed. The Earlier Roman Republic in Italy was more cultured.
As for homosexuality, as the more ancient ways ''Greek or Etrurian'' influences (It was a multicultural formation of a State, Latin became official around 200BC) started changing and Rome became quite different then all their cousins, it became more acceptable especially among the Higher Classes.
Mainly because Homosexuality wasn't as much accepted in Greece or Cities with late Greek influences as we might think. The first Western writers tried to think of Ancient Greece as a ''Utopia'' mainly because of Vases depicting Homosexuality. It wasn't as Socialy acceptable really. In Athens Homosexuals were also treated like Black Sheep and lost even Citizenship. Society didn't treat them well. The official term used was ''Kynaidos'' There were even Laws against it. The only officialy accepted by the State place were Homosexuality was common was among the Sacred Band (An Elite Military Unit) in Thebes. There was also Religious Fanaticism most of us never heard about even if it wasn't a Theotocracy. Like who will manage to be declared ''Avenger of Apollo'' from the Oracle at Delphi to lead against Persia (You can imagine the Backstabbing and Religious Propaganda)
These Writers and Vases depicting Pederasty (High Class slave owners etc) also have ''Mistaken'' the Grammatic meaning of some Ancient Greek words that have a very different meaning compared to the modern used versions. The Spartan ''Erastes'' weren't exactly a Boy lover relationship but meant ''Mentor'' Although the word today that survives in the modern language comes from the word Eros which means Love in a more Romantic way or Sexual there are many sources from which a word originates and many complicated Ancient definitions. It wasn't exactly used as a Sexual one. ''Pederasty'' meant a Death Sentence since there were Laws against it. No source of Laws in some random City doesn't mean that the Obvious wasn't punished.
So yeah. Rome was Multicultured and quite open minded in many things but they didn't have limits and it was ''Too much'' which made it Degenerate and Barbaric. Honestly, Celts were Civilised, not the Romans.
there is some in skyrim, but they are dead. you can find their story on solsteim. sad story but its kinda funny due to what killed them, ie the dwemer.
Yes. You can marry both men and women regardless of player gender and their are a few books in ESO referencing argonians changing their gender through their connection to the Hist. There's also two dead lovers in Solstheim who are gay.
If I could add one request, I would really love it if you added physics to the capes. I don't personally know how to do that, or I would do so (nor do I have the time.
I tried doing this just now, but for some weird reason my changes undid themselves when I made renamed copies to upload >:( It had worked before I did that, but it makes me think if I tried uploading them they would end up being regular ESPs again If you use this guide it should be ok to do it yourself, although it does need formIDs to be compacted so it probably won't work on an existing game :/

Readme contains instructions on how to change the rarity of the capes if you want to do that
