    Hello everyone,

I'm using Skyland AIO, notably with Fantasia Landscapes and Blended Roads.
I'm trying to use the bridge from Atlantean Landscapes, which works perfectly... except in Morthal with No Snow Under the Roofs.

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong, but I admit I'm having trouble.
I've done a ton of tweaking, and apart from disabling No Snow Under the Roofs, I haven't found anything conclusive.
Do you think this is a problem with missing textures? Theoretically, they're all there; I also tried the full mod.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has a lead. :)

I found that the Morthal bridge refered to the Placed object 00077E56 with Base name Prom_Bridge01_Snow in SSEEdit.
I changed it for Bridge01 and the bridge is well displayed.

When using NSUTR with a parallax snow texture, such as Tomato's, the newly added snow objects on farm house terraces and wooden piers and such won't show transparency at the edges and appear extremely blocky.

Does anyone know a fix for this, i.e., a mod that patches NSUTR snow pile nifs to use custom or TBLF non-parallax textures?

This mod improves Skyrim's extremely poor quality snow graphics to a much better visual quality. And yet it feels like a shame that it has been left old and abandoned, with only patch modifications made by other volunteers existing.
I would have liked to see the creation of many snow mods similar to this one.

Is this compatible with seasons of skyrim?

      Hello Doomlurker42

I don't think so, but I don’t know for sure.

NSUTR is very old and Seasosn of Skyrim did not exist when it was released.
I would expect that at none winter seasons the new farmhouse and walkway snow cover objects/meshes added by NSUTR will not be removed by the Seasons mod.

The additionally placed vanilla snow objects placed by NSUTR could be affected and removed by Seasons, but I never tested its affect on NSUTR records myself.

In general, please always ask the author of the mod directly if the new creation/mod is in part or fully compatible with older mods first, thank you.

No Snow Under Roof uses the Nightgate Inns sign for the WindPeak Inn.

I Fixed that with SeEdit in "No Snow Under Roof"... in the worldspace block 0,0 sub-block 0,3 in Dawnstar exterior9, the mod simply placed the wrong sign in Dawnstar, they placed the Nightgate Inn's sign.

You know for as old as this mod is I can't be the only person ever noticed?

      Hello Eflat63

Thank you for reporting your findings.
But this bug is known for ages and has been fixed a long time ago by my bugfix mod.
Take a look, if you are intersted, it fixes some other bugs too.

Next time, please also use the "Search comments..." function if you want to report a bug, thank you.
For example, if you had searched for "Nightgate", it would have shown you that the bug was reported in 2016 and that a solution has been available since 2018.

      Hello Messina13

It looks to me like a mod has changed the resolution of the Vanilla tavern sign textures that doesn't match the original UV resolution of the vanilla SE tavern sign meshes. Are you using a mod that alters the tavern signs in any way?

Since NsutR created its own copy of the original 3D sign object, I guess you need to create patch specifically for the mod to work with NsutR properly.

The no snow mod utilizes the vanilla mesh files as a base... you can try to replace (with loose files) the standard sign .nif with the one you want in the mesh directories which is data/meshes/clutter/signage/inns they have pretty standardized names i.e. signdeadmansdrink01.nif, signmoorsideinn01.nif, etc...

So how the no snow mod works is they use the standard game mesh for signs and place a snowy mesh over top of it. (So if you change the vanilla game sign mesh it should use that mesh)

I had just fixed the esp in my game with SeEdit in "No Snow Under Roof"... in the worldspace block 0,0 sub-block 0,3 in Dawnstar exterior9, the mod placed the wrong vanilla sign mesh in Dawnstar, they placed the Nightgate Inn's sign, so I changed it to the Windpeak Inns.

    "empty" snow under the roof.

    p.s.
was able to solved using other mod snow01.dds on this mod meshes, cathedral landscape one is too trasparent

      Hello Tenz81

This is a well known problem with modified snow textures and NSUtR.
The new snow texture does not respect the vanilla alpha channel behavior of the original snow01.dds texture, resulting in an "acid-hole snow look" for the new NSUtR 3D snow objects.

Next time please search for old posts first, it has been addressed several times.

      With best regards

Well, it was possible to search the posts in the forum view, but unfortunately it looks like this function is no longer available since the update to the new posting system.

Does that mean that NSUTR is not compatible with parallax snow textures? Because with the original non-parallax Nordic Snow textures (snow01.nif...), the NSTUR snow objects look fine. But with the parallax version of Nordic Snow, I get the acid-hole look.

because the parallax version of that mod snow01.dds is "trasparent" and nsutr goes well only with snow01.dds NOT trasparent. It's easy to solve if you know how to edit meshes or just install a parallax snow that has no too trasparent snow01 (like vivid snow of hein or I think also pfuscher one)
