Have your dead disappeared? Forgotten to set the dead as respawns. No new start required just go to an interior cell and save download update and wait 48 hrs in game time the dead will return with the new spawn cycle...
I did a quick run thru Whiterun outer to test this mod with Better City Entrances and Justice and no glaring issues. Like Nesbit said he paid attention to minimising conflicts in terms of the placements here....another awesome and immersive mod! Well done mate.
I think the bodies would look better if they ALL had the execution hood on and the same outfit, regardless of faction, etc. They should all look like hanged criminals that had to suffer in jails before execution.
Yep I thought on doing that. They do look better, but then I thought some are hanged and left their rank and status or faction to make a point to others as warnings...So I mixed it up a bit...
Very interesting and unique idea. May I add? Would there be potential for a lite version? I want to try this, however it seems like there are too many corpses in certain areas, like the wooded areas, Dragon Bridge or perhaps have a few hanging from trees if that's possible. Cool stuff and pardon me if what I typed seems annoying. Best on all fronts.
Any chance in a non good characters version (soldiers farmers and such) it seems kinda disrespectful. Really love this concept tho, tracking this to keep an eye on.
love it, possible things to add (thought i saw u ask for ideas somewere) - an optional imperial version and a stormcloak version depending on who you like or rather DISlike more. maybe if at all pissible it be able to change after the civil war questline like how whiterun has the plaza stuff damaged. - a fomod to be able to make choises, and or pick patches for things like bridges mod, or winhelm bridge mod, the well known city overhauls, etc. - esl version (if at all possible). - a sparse, normal and dense version with sparse meanign you from time to time see one of them and dense they are everywere.
I will be adding to this mod, not just the hung, but other features in the future it has legs, possibilities'. What would you like to see? I know what I am going to add... wbell did you post a minute ago I did not get it? or was that someone else? Long day...anyway thanks..
Maybe more execution events with headsmen in more cities? :) If that's within the scope of your plans.
I always found it odd that Bethesda used that animated event so few times after going to the trouble of creating it. All I can recall atm is the the one at the beginning of the game, and the one when you first enter Solitude, and that was pretty much it for 300+ hours of gameplay. There is so little evidence of strife and conflict in the vanilla game for a province that is supposed to be in a civil war.
Thank you for sharing yet another immersive mod, Nesbit098 :D
-Some stench feature around the corpses or flies buzzing around them.
-Random encounters with fugitives running from the guards asking for the player's help. The player could get forced into dialogue with the guards and have the option to help the fugitive and fight the guards or let the guards do the fugitive in, and after a day or two, you get to see that exact fugitive you didn't help hanging from the gallows. It would add an immersive touch of consequence to the player's actions.
-Corpse burning pyres and Wagons full of corpses, if possible, being transported to a hold's burning pyre.
-Vultures and crows near the gallows would be a nice touch, as well as any place where you decide to add a pile of corpses.
-Skyrim's Dead familiars kneeling and crying over the corpse of the deceased NPCs.
