Doesn't really change much on my end, really subtle but its there. I might need to ramp up the radius a little bit with SSEEdit. Still, super helpful awesome little mod! Thanks
For some reason, none of the torch mods I've tried (Infinite Torch & Torch Brightness Radius) seem to work. None of them change the torch burn time. They still burn out after four minutes even though I checked the mod edits with SSEEdit.
Could it be another mod that affects my torches? Afaik, none of my other mods changes torch values.
When it doubt move ot as close to bash as possible, or if its as simple as this, move near the end after bash and most anything else. Ish's respec mod is mostly simple, but if I dont puit it ultra high on the list (far down), it wont work properly.
thank you very much for this simple mod. i personally changed all the values (more of a patch between some lighting mods i use) and your guide (+ some experiance) makes that really easy, especially by pulling all the relevant light sources together. just a minor note this esp can, i believe, be turned into an esl so it doesn't take up an esp slot for something this small.
An essential mod for me, since the vanilla torches kinda suck. This mod is such a simple change, but makes them really useful. Lately I've been using Ominous ENB, which really darkens the lighting (making night-time very hard to see in), so this mod is an absolute god-send for me, lol.
Endorsed as essential mod. Vanilla torches suck. Mildly lower value option might be good, something like 1.5 radius and 1.25 brightness.
The only issue is that occasionally you get guards bunched up, and the torches combine for uber brightness. But this rarely happens, usually after fast traveling to certain places and it ends up being night.
There is a mod that fixes that problem (it actually happens enough to be annoying). It only lets one NPC in a small area carry a torch, the others put theirs away.
Just wanted to stop in and say thanks. I've been trying a lot of torch mods of late but this one is simple and perfect. Just what I wanted and no hassles. I'm a slave to ELFX and this works great. Endorsed.
Does this fix the problem with torches in sconces that stop their animation when you move away from them? I have a modded Proudspire Manor with torch sconces, but it is annoying that the torches are no longer animated if you move away from them, you can't even move to the next room without "distant" torches becoming frozen.

Torch Brightness Radius :
