This is a nice looking enhancement to the Lakeview Manor. I see that someone requested a patch for Lakeview Manor - As It Should Be, but the description page indicates the Zen Pond is compatible with "any mods that affect Lakeview Manor." So, is this mod compatible with Lakeview Manor - As It Should Be, or not? Likewise, would this be compatible with Lakeview Manor Upgrades Enhanced Edition?
- I think the waterfall should be smaller, as it's too big for the small pond that it ends up in. I would also consider having a small outlet buried in one end of the pond, to simulate the water going somewhere (the woodmill pond in Falkreath city has this). Dregin's Half Moon Creek shows off a lot of tiny waterfalls in action, which build up to larger ones to flow into Lake Illinata Half Moon Creek
- Perhaps the mud crab spawns in the pond should be disabled if you use this mod
- The kids in Pinewatch town will run up and try to run through the waterfall. (Oh, Rosa for some reason has a woman's voice)
A smaller waterfall would make sense, but I had trouble getting one to look right in there, I may explore that in the future again as well as an outlet
If you want to disable the mudcrabs, an easy way is with the console (~ key) and then click on the crab, then type in 'disable' and it will remove them for you
The voice bug with Rosa should be fixed in a newer version of the Town of Pinewatch
Here is what I would like. A smaller waterfall, some fish in the pond, Remove the mudcrabs and replace them with two pet mudcrabs that play with the kids, and a Patch for "Lakeview Manor - as it should be". This is an awesome mod that puts a picnic spot on the Pinewatch side of the pond. So, I want the bridge, the table and the picnic spot.
I was having some general oddities around the pond area so I checked it with my mod checker and received these results " Cleaning With SSEEdit NeededThe following plugins have deleted references or other issues that can and should be fixed with SSEEdit. Visit the Tome of xEdit for more information.• ZenPondByLakeview.esp: 27 deleted references "
any way you could fix this? your mod adds a really nice touch to the area
according to the tome " 7.5.3 - Deleted references are a significant cause of crashes and game bugs. This is because if one mod tries to modify a reference that another mod has deleted, then the first mod cannot find the reference, and this then causes problems. A deleted reference can be fixed by undeleting then disabling the references and moving it to a position where it is no longer visible in the Creation Kit (xEdit sets the Z axis position to -30,000 units). This has the same effect as deleting the reference, without causing issues. Deleted references can be cleaned automatically using xEdit.
I tried the quick clean and the auto clean and got the dirty result notice saying needed to be cleaned manually and should be cleaned by mod author
Hey I'm very sorry for the delay, August has been one heck of a month for me and has me very busy trying to get my life back together. I still have this in my mind and have not forgotten, I just have not had any good opportunities to be working on updates for my mods.
This is changing slowly and getting better, and I will definitely be coming back to focus on updates and new mods soon!
Just to give some more data here, the deleted records are all native to this mod. That's actually a very rare variation on PDR (Permanently Disabled Record) errors where instead the records are deleted.
The good news is that this is a low-risk error that is unlikely to have any negative game impact other than raising the loaded reference count.
The better news is that it's easy to fix. Just go into xEdit, find the deleted native records (the UDR report will list them as skipped records) and use the "remove" option on the xEdit context menu to prune them out of the file.
Thank you for considering making your mod ESP_FE. This will make your mods even more desirable, because people can install without using a precious plugin slot. Like many, I'm closing in on that 255 ESP, ESM plugin limit. This makes us have to give up really good but not essential eye candy mods that take up plugin. Keep up the good work and creating. Thanks for sharing with us lazy non creative types. :)
Hey I've uploaded an ESP-FE file in there, let me know if it works or if I missed a step!
also being able to harvest flowers in the waterfall sounds like an oversight on my end! when I re-visit this mod I'll add that to an update, thanks for letting me know :)

I'll look into it at least :)
Doesn't give any issues and goes perfectly with the mods that I have for Lakeview.
It does seem like I can harvest mountain flowers in the waterfall!?

Nice little extra detail, looking forward to other locations!
Looking forward to your future Skyrim enhancements.
I want to add locations mostly in the southern side of Skyrim, so Whiterun, the Rift, Falkreath, and Markarth exterior areas
