Where do I load this mod? Very low but somewhere before your generated patches (Bashed Patch.esp, Synthesis.esp, ect). You can use LOOT to have "Arrow In The Knee.esp" load after the plugin you want. The AITK patches will automatically be sorted underneath.
Compatible with Requiem? No. That would require entire separate versions for as their projectile values are part of a deep integration of the entire system they created. I will add support for mods I don't use, but Requiem is just too much.
Compatible with Arrows and Bolts Tweaks? No, but it's meant not to be.
AITK is focused more on compatibility with a simple system, with lots of mod support. ATB is focused more on lots of options when installing, but with no mod support. You'd have to make your own patches.
Compatibility
+ Compatible with mods that do NOT add bolts and arrows to the game. + Compatible with mods that add bolts and arrows to the game, but may require a patch to work with my changes.
Having an issue with exploding crossbow bolts not appearing in the firing animation or doing any damage at all in game. The normal Dwarven and Steel bolts work fine, just the exploding versions are missing in action.
Does it work with locational damage? By default it halves damage to arms and legs but deals big dame to magicka and stamina respectively And it affects all non-magic types of attacts
Sorry I haven't been able to look into Enderal. The opening scene had me shitting my pants, but that was years ago. Maybe I will get around to it, but if you are able to use xEdit to see if my mod overrides all Enderal records, I will appreciate that.
That feedback of mine is based on initial impression:
-the minor one: the weightless stat it's kinda cheaty
- the major one: making the damage so distinct between materials turn arrows above iron (and iron too) into instant-killers (adept difficulty) for both NPCs and player, in fact (gut feeling?) seems like you could kill some draug bosses even with archery at 20 skill just by equipping 5 good arrows and a decent bow? And that without even considering sneak/critical hits. And if you compesate that by moving to Expert difficulty then as a result you'll get even more instant-killed by NPCs arrows.
My suspect is that scaling the damage by nearly doubling it is just too much, considering that a good ward now get throwed away by a couple of iron arrows which are nearly impossible to dodge since they are way faster than before. While the perks for archery looks way less important, the flip of the coin is that armor/block perks could make a difference against arrows but until you get those perks you'll reach the perk of frustration.
Hardcore players could consider it fun, but if the mod aim to those players then some disclaimer should highlight it.
(balancing this game its just difficult since many factors are involved, I hope that feedback don't hit your mood)
"aMidianBorn Content Addon" add skyforge weapons (retextured steel meshes) including arrows, they should have WACC stats already but I wonder if the other stats (which ones?) implemented by this mod aren't "conflicting" with the former?
There was only 1 arrow added with aMidianBorn Content Addon, and it was for "Skyforge Steel Arrow". There was no conflicts, so I just made a patch that adds my changes to that arrow. Content Addon is supported as of version 1.0.5.
