Thank you so much for this, one minor thing I'm facing is that I can never get the sliders to stick through a re launch of the game. Reluctant to go post it in the bugs section cause I'm not sure if it user error but I've got Vanilla + Azurite Weathers II and Ordinator patches going. Any help would be a god send <3
*Edit: if anyone has a similar issue i worked around it by just opening up this mod's Vanilla Sliders ESP in SSEEdit and changing the default menu values from there. Certainly a roundabout way of doing it but it works :)
Hey! I couldn't reproduce it. Make sure your INI files in %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\ aren't set to read-only by chance, and that SkyrimCustom.ini doesn't contain [AudioMenu] section. Otherwise, you could try removing this section from SkyrimPerfs.ini. It also could be something on Mod Manager's end, MO2 has a feature of loading INI files from a separate location – example, in which case the INI path will be different.
thank you for sharing this, the obscene loudness of obsidian weathers has driven me nuts for ages. glad to finally turn it down to a reasonable level lol.
A bit odd request. The sliders within NAT/NAT3 are working, and adding explicit support for NAT won't do anything: sliders would function the same way – only reducing their volume.
Anyway, here's a patch for NAT, which should in theory increase rain's base volume, thereby giving you more headroom with volume sliders. I've set "Static attenuation" values to 0 (higher is quieter) for all rain sounds, keep in mind this might unintentionally "average out" their volumes as well.
I don't even see the slider that says Azurite II on it in the sounds menu. Also, the current sliders for rain and storm lightning are no longer working with this patch winning the load order for sound mods (except the music replacers)
Hey. I've just tested it with AW II, and it works for me. Make sure the plugins are checked in the section with ESPs. In game, there should be 4 volume sliders that say "Weather - [section]". Here's what it looks like.
Hey! I was gonna say that it doesn't need this, but after taking another look it has apparently missed a few sounds. Added Cathedral, and suppressed it's own volume sliders so you don't get duplicates in the settings.
Im using your mod since months and worked flawlessly, but now i switched my weather mod to Azurite Weathers II and looks like the rain volume slider is not fully working. It reduces a part of the rain sound volume, but there is an other sound effect for rains that is not affected by the sliders. The others like thunder and interior weather volume sliders are not working at all. Can you please make a patch for it? :)
