It only affects bosses right? I am using OWL and I really hope they are compatible because it's just what I need.

Does this require a new game? I am at endgame and I want to make the bosses a bit difficult.

No, it doesn't require a new game. Just place it at the end of your load order if possible to prevent your mod list from getting reordered. If you can't place at the end it should be no big deal as Skyrim was built to accommodate adding new mods mid-playthrough. The only issue Skyrim has is when you remove mods from a playthrough.

and if ur using things like mo2, removing mods isnt a big deal ( i guess it depends which, sometimes) but mo2 uses virtual folder.
u can use overhauls, and remove them and nobody is naked etc.

Could you explain how the mod works a bit more? Do the mod's changes only apply when you're travelling with followers (?), or does it just change the boss multiplier? I'm already using Arena so I've got some idea of how it works, I just don't totally grasp your mod description.
Also, does the arena of this mod replace arena or just patch it? If I'm using Arena already, do I just switch out Arena for this mod's version of it?

No detection of followers, it's a higher multiplier for leveled actors.

Hello, i've been loving this mod as it finally makes the actual need of bringing followers around, but in my current playthrough lately i just encountered Mikail Gauldurson, and he was level 15. Other bosses such as dragon priests, bandit chiefs and such all have significantly higher levels as intended. Any ideas what is happening here? For mods that revamps and increases difficulty, i'm using Encounter Zones Unlocked SE, Real Bosses, Ultimate Combat and Ultimate Dragons along this mod.

EDIT : I forgot to include my level when encountering him, my bad. I encountered him on around Lv 30s, and lately i also met Sigdis being level 25 iirc while being Lv 33. Are they not covered by this mod or is something else at work here?

Simple yet brilliant mod! Installed this mod and my character with two followers got insta-death by a high level vampire.
With few more perks and one more follower, I managed to killed her in second try.
    Highly recommended if...
    1. you want to bring 3~4 followers but are afraid of combat being too easy.
    2. you do not want to install enemy enhance mods (you need to have lots of patches or make your own patches).
    3. you do not want to install power-creep inducing mod (like OP artifact mods, mods that give more perks per level-ups, etc)
-> if you do, I guess you would want to install enemy enhance mods.

Thanks for the hearty recommendation. I also agree with your last point on power-creep, which is why I always advise caution when combining difficulty mods, perk mods, and enemy overhauls. Balance in Skyrim is very easy to break when combining mods without researching them first.

for your research on Great Mods to Pair section:
I roll with a posse, seriously like a dozen* ha, BUT, i've added "Draugr horde" mod to multiply our battles. And Genesis of course. Plus, I use Hateful Wenches, (judgement and forgotten wenches too), which makes each little encounter a long winded battle. you can kinda see what I mean 30seconds into this vid (18) Teaser Trailer for Dovah Moon, A Skyrim Saga - YouTube
*I use AFT to leave all my followers at an Inn/home/etc, then summon them all when entering a cave/dungeon/ruin etc

It's a lot of fun until the end when the Boss dies quick ugh, so your mod should fix that! THANKS!

Thanks for the suggestions and the video. I'll add Genesis to the list as an alternative to Increased Enemy Spawns. For a game as hectic as yours is, I think this Ultimate Boss Fight mod may really give you the challenge that you seek.

What do you mean with uncapped all vanilla encounter zones? Is that the same as
    Encounter Zones Unlocked SE?

Encounter Zones Unlocked and Party of Four are perfectly compatible. Encounter Zones Unlocked addresses a vanilla issue where the level of enemies within a dungeon would remain at the level at which you first cleared it. Take for example Bleak Falls Barrow which most clear at Lvl. 1. When you return at Lvl. 50 without Encounter Zones Unlocked the enemies will still be Lvl. 1.

Party of Four simply removes the max level on dungeons which had it such as Bleak Falls Barrow which without my edit would cap at Lvl. 20 even with Encounter Zones Unlocked.

Can I use this mod with

No, as both mods change the same setting. Select one or the other based on your playstyle. If you're a primarily solo player then stick with Enhanced Enemies. If you use multiple followers then this mod is a better option.

O is thought party of four is only for the bosses? Thanks, I will remove enhanced enemies then. I Play with versus enemies evolved do I need the main file or the optional file, I don't use Arena an encounter zone.

Let me see if I can further clarify what Party of Four, Arena, and Enhanced Enemies actually do by modifying the leveled actor multiplier.

The leveled actor multiplier determines how strong the enemies appearing in dungeons will be. The end of dungeon boss strength is determined by the Very Hard multiplier which is what Party of Four is primarily concerned with. Enhanced Enemies is more concerned with making the weakest or Easy multiplier enemies decently leveled by increasing that multiplier. Arena is the basis for both, but also raises the minimum levels of dungeons which locks you into a more linear path when starting at lower levels.

In summary, you should only need the main file if you don't want Arena's encounter zone edits. Versus also was intended to be used in conjunction with the main file.

So do I load Arena - Harder Bosses after Party of Four - Harder Bosses or only choose one of the two?
Edit: Look like both can be used at the same time but Party of Four - Harder Bosses is redundant.

It seems you figured it out. For the sake of others who may be confused I'll leave a comment on the Arena version stating that it doesn't require Arena or Party of Four.

So anybody that doesn't play Arena and encounter zones need the optional file?

Yes, my mod is compatible with everything you listed as this mod only modifies the leveled actor multipliers and not the NPCs themselves. Those mods edit NPC records for specific enemy types while this mod is intended to increase the strength of generic dungeon bosses. That Dragon Priest mod looks ridiculous. A candy-ass version. Huh.

OK, so I'll try and see if your mod is a challenge...

I don't understand what you mean by "candy-ass version" - this is the only mod that makes Dragon Priest really scary. Challenge him and you will find out.

The Dragon Priest mod you linked has a candy-ass version or something. I thought it was amusing.
