Just wanted to confirm as well that this works, thank you SO much! Fixed my problem with my magica not regenerating (the level got turned down out of nowhere?)

Easily installed it with vortex : D

      Thanks again!

SkyTweak as the guy upload link above is not recommeded if installing/unistalling in mid-game even it will completely ruin your game save
. Even I used FallrimTools - Script cleaner and more at Skyrim Special ... to clean , its still ruined

      >HELP CONFIRM: If anyone can confirm its safe in NEW GAME

I tried it. Everything is fine except modify  The Experience Confirmation in MCM . Your skill will level up only 1 times. then it will never processing to level up. I noticed it when I do Crafting / Enhancing.

Unless I am mistaken you should always convert oldrim mods to form 44. Form 43 has a different record structure and the differences are not just to record header. It could cause stability issues if you don't right?

    LENS (New)
    VOLI (New)
    SPGD (from FO4)
MATO - changed Directional Material Data (L9895-L9929)
STAT - changed Direction Material (L12783-L12797)
WATR - changed Visual Data (L12920-L13041), added Flow Normals (L13057)
WTHR - added volumetric lighting (L13426-L13432), added LENS flare reference (L13442)
WEAP - changed Critical Data (L13159-L13183)
    VMAD - added "large references"

The record data was taken from Reddit.

U dont extract a interface folder, u only extract the scripts ... inside the SkyTweak folder ( in your mods folder) there's already an interface folder in it.. so the guy said in total u should have 2 folders the interface ( wich was already there to begin with) and the new one wich u extracted - the scripts one.
Your Skytweak Folder should look like this when u finish following the instructions.

I run into a problem, I adjusted some tweaks and now the game crashes whenever I attempt to do a ranged attack with bow or spell.
I know it's the SkyTweak because I didn't had any problems before changing settings and removing SkyTweak fixes the problem.
If I won't end up restoring all settings but find the problem, I'll come back to share it. Yet if someone has a solution, please share your knowledge.

Edit: The problem was "SkyTweak/Misc/Max Attached Arrows" setting it to 0 crashes the game whenever you use projectile attack.

I dont under stand what im doing wrong, ive tried following guides for hours at this point
I have extracted the original mod zip, then extracted the .bsa, then zipped up the interface and scripts folders and the .esp into a new archive, then i added it to vortex and installed it- doesnt work. then i ran it through ck and it still doesnt work.
so at the moment, the mod folder looks like this
    SkyTweak
    >interface (folder)
    >scripts (folder)
    >SkyTweak.esp

please help me, i cannot understand what im doing differently, i have followed guides exactly and it still doesnt work

I don't understand why a valuable mod like SkyTweak is not being released for SSE by some modder. I'm a gamer, not a dev so I don't want to go through all of this, all I want to do is use NMM to dl mods.

    Some feedback:

    1. I'm not sure I agree with your decision (and recommendation) to just leave form 43 plugins alone instead of converting them to 44 with the CK. It only takes 60 seconds to do the conversion. The conversion makes the plugin compatible in more ways than you might think. SSE plugins are structurally different then LE plugins, but it depends on whether the plugin makes use of the new/changed fields: New fields are created in the plugin, and old fields are updated when you do the conversion. This makes the changed plugin compatible with other tools that might reference those fields, e.g. Mator, Wrye Bash, xedit, zedit, etc. Please read this article for more details. (Notice who gives the advice in that article. Yes it's Mator and Arthmoor!)

    2. You might want to include some comments about the Grimy plugin and whether it's needed or not. Even though it brings no added functionality, I would still recommend using it for the very fact that it prevents a lot of errors from getting stuffed into your papyrus logs. And it is REQUIRED if you want to change any of the scripts.

    3. You might want to warn users that SkyTweak can make changes they don't want. I posted the following over in the SkyTweak LE mod, but I'll copy it here for reference:

    Spoiler:
    Show

I just wanted to let people know that this mod may be changing a LOT of your game data and character stats without you knowing it. I found that out today. On a brand new save my carry weight went from 125 to 175 mysteriously (I have a mod that starts me out with 125). I could even watch the change happen by quickly opening up my inventory at game start and watching it flip from 125 to 175 before my very eyes. I finally traced this problem to SkyTweak. AND I HAD MADE NO CHANGES IN SKYTWEAK, IT JUST DECIDED TO DO THIS BY ITSELF.

In any case, I was able to download the Grimy Plugin source file, decompile all the scripts in SkyTweak, then I commented out every line in the main script file that could change anything in my game--basically I replaced every "set" command with a debug.trace statement. That fixed my carry weight, and I also counted DOZENS of other entries in my papyrus log where SkyTweak was trying to change game and character data! Yikes. From what I saw in the code, none of the change statements should have been executing unless something was changed in the MCM, and I wasn't changing anything. Note that I only use SkyTweak for looking at stats, not changing them.

TLDR: I converted SkyTweak into a read-only stats viewer. And my SkyTweak load time went from 12 seconds to 5 seconds.

      Thanks for your feedback.

The problem I have with Grimy Plugin is that it's not for SKSE 64. For me this sadly means it will not load, or rather: SKSE will abort load and the game won't start. That's why I'm leaving it out of the guide. If SkyTweak works with Grimy Plugin under SE in your setup, that's great - it might be helpful to post details here on how you get it to not crash your game.

re form 43/44: Far be it from me to disagree with far more knowledgable modders like Mator or Arthmoor. All I can say is that I've been running a very stable game with quite a lot of form 43 esps. And personally I hate the fact I have to make a Bethesda account so I can run their damnable launcher, just for downloading the CK. But to each their own, that's why made a note on converting in the guide.

re 3.: That's beyond the scope of this guide. I assume that if you use this guide, you are either familiar with SkyTweak and its quirks, or you are interested enough to read the full mod description on the original mod page, maybe dive into the comments section too.

Oops yeah, I'm not using the GrimyTools.dll, that can just be deleted or hidden after the install. The only 2 files you need are GrimyToolsPluginScript.pex and GrimyToolsPluginScript.psc to be able to compile the scripts and prevent a lot of papyrus log errors.

Any chance that you'll be uploading your alteration to SkyTweak as a mod? I'm trying to fix my broken stealth mechanics (long story), and SkyTweak seems to be the/a solution to it, but if it is as you say that it'll alter game settings in the background... yikes.

I'd love to upload it as a mod, unfortunately the permissions don't allow me to do that.
