Introducing my SECOND Mod
*Requires Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLCs
Skyrim is a harsh land. So why not kick back in a house that screams comfort. Fairlight Retreat is a home that is located exactly outside of the city of Whiterun, with a house that close to a city, this is a good convenience for your Dragonborn. A house for you can head into the city to sell your wares and come back to without having to travel long distances. Besides, Whiterun is a great place, isn't it?

Skyrim is a harsh land. So why not kick back in a house that screams comfort. Fairlight Retreat is a home that is located exactly outside of the city of Whiterun, with a house that close to a city, this is a good convenience for your Dragonborn. A house for you can head into the city to sell your wares and come back to without having to travel long distances. Besides, Whiterun is a great place, isn't it?
How convenient is it? Well, are you an expert on Enchanting? How about Alchemy? Is Smithing more your style? Are you perhaps a master at creating a staff? If any of these fit your expertise, then Fairlight Retreat is indeed the place for you! All of these workshops in one location, with NO WAITING AROUND and NO LEAVING near the comfort of your bed, all just waiting for you when you step foot inside!
How about those Divines? People sure do like to praise them. However, those shrines are scattered around the province, and besides Solitude there isn't a place where they can all be worship... hey wait! That's right! Fairlight Retreat has the luxury of owning every single shine to those above (yes that includes Talos you funny Nords). No more having to run down to your favorite gods' shrine just for that blessing from them, as they will always be close to you.
*Fairlight Retreat does not have any shrines dedicated to those "other" types of gods.*
Skyrim requires its citizens to work really hard. It can range from being a mercenary, down to a simple cook, and when they work hard they tend to get all sweaty and start to stink up and no one likes a smelly person (unless you're from Morthal), Fairlight Retreat has the courtesy of providing you with your very own bath! No longer would you need to jump into a river to wash up as animals drink and let themselves go in those waters now come on!
How about a warrior? Are you that? Got some training in weapons? Or maybe want some training in them? Down below would be your very own training room! Filled with weapons to choose from and training wares from dummies to archery targets, living in Skyrim you got to be prepared for the worst, and train to become the best!

Do you like food? I hope you do as you need to eat, as just outside of the house is a dock where you can relax and take in that view of Whiterun and cook yourself up some fine elk. The tundra has been said to be filled with lots of animals to hunt from, so the supply is limitless!

Fairlight Retreat sounds like a quiet place doesn't it? I bet you are just aching to just go in and enjoy a simple and quiet life. The house is just waiting for you to come and claim it, but it isn't going to be open right away, I mean what is this? High Rock? We use keys in Skyrim for our houses, and that key is waiting for you to find it. What's that? Where is this key? I don't know myself it could be in another province for all we know...
By Shor, that venison sure looks grand. Those plates sure are convenient also, all silver, brown, and... gold? What was I talking about? Oh right, where is that key anyways?
Catch? Oh right... always a catch. The catch would be the LOCATION of the house. Skyrim seems to be getting new people looking for houses, and this means houses are being built all the time, lucky for Fairlight Retreat it was built on a land where no buildings were nearby, it wouldn't be possible for two houses to join together, sounds like a nightmare!
What I'm trying to say is: try and make sure that no one puts any buildings on top of it ok?
By the way, you got a friend? Or maybe a... lover? Thinking of settling in just the two of you? Well, too bad! I apologize but Fairlight Retreat is a house only for one person, a single person who wants to come to a home and relax after a long day. Your friend may need to sleep outside or have them buy a sleeping bag.

What else... oh right! There is a certain door down in the basement. It's locked and the key for it is nowhere to be found. I heard that there was a clue to finding it, reading up on that and from what I was told that the answer "a cold moment captured as it stands like time itself froze, and as solid as the stones themselves" whatever they meant by that, I have no idea.
That door sure does give me quite the chills. Wish I had the key so I can finally see what exactly is in there.
