The Book Of The Wild -Enigma Series Chapter 3- Wild Animals
Part 3 Aims to rework the vanilla Wild creatures voice & sound FX! i'll be releasing any Wild Animal Sound Reworks here as i go along! As usual Headphone users be careful, i lowered the volume in the preview files abit!
Cool mod but can someone clue me in on why animals are now demonically speaking about something soul as they die. Why are my animals talking?
EDIT: There's another mod activating that voice on kill with multiple animals so far. Anyone know what mod causes the dialogue 'now your soul is mine'? Really awesome sounds by the way thank you!
I like your daedra mods, but this just makes it seem like you're making the voices deeper. As they all become deeper, they lose their personality. For example, the troll breathing, wolf breathing, and mammoth breathing all sound the same.
A lot of animals are supposed to make higher pitched/shrill noises from time to time. Even large animals, like elephants.
If you had completely changed the noise, instead of modifying the existing one, that would be a great change of pace.
That's exactly what this mod does. It just pitches the files down, and amplifies some of em a bit. Some people like that sort of thing, making the animals and creatures sound "more menacing". I'm kinda one of em, I kinda like this mod, but... yeeeaaah the mod author makes it seem like its such a profound thing, but in reality you can do this in 5 minutes with audacity and that skyrim audio converter thing right here on the nexus. Granted, it's kinda hard to get animal sound effects that dont sound corny as hell, so i dont blame the author for just reusing the vanilla ones, but.. at least dont act like it was such a profound thing, yknow?
Love your mods. In case you aren't aware there is a really poor sound file associated with bats that could really use your artist's touch. It sounds like someone scratching a record with an exacto knife and the loop is only like 5 seconds long. Becomes an issue in vampire mods with bat transformations where you have to listen to this POS constantly.
I recently found all of your wonderful sound reworks (like e.g. falmer sounds now completely different and really terrifying!) but even i of course like all here appreciate your work, just would like to know what you changed here beside making the sound of the creatures more darker.just curious. can't play and test myself atm ingame. and even i appreciate and thank you for always delivering soundfiles to get a taste, i - and maybe others too - would mbe very thankful if you could just shortly explain to each sound what your goal was.
cheers and keep it up! sounds are one of the most important things in every game and you make this a more mature, darker and maybe even more realistic experience and i love it!
Hi besides making them sounds like real feral animals i amplified the sounds which alot of them can't be heard well in vanilla, ex mammoths got a heavy footstep that triggers abit of tremble but you cant hear that in vanilla sounds!
