Love the mod, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the vampire quest for the dawngaurd.
My stats and everything says I am a vampire but the npc will give me the generic "won't talk because I am a mortal" dialog.

I have tried using the better vampire mods but still won't fix it. The only work around I have found is to turn into a vampire lord (with the better vampire mod) and try to do the quest in the vampire lord form.

Edit: You will have to do the quest via the dawngaurd. The vampire quest side is broken once you reach the moth priest. You will be unable to feed on him.

There might be some work around if you really want to do the vampire quest. Creation kit? (Fairly new to modding) could work.

Hi, first of all, great mod!
But I have an issue with the camera, at first it worked fine, then, I don't know how, it came back to normal like I was normal size nord (in first person view).
It would be great if you know a way to fix this

I did a player.setscale and it fixed the first person height.

I hate to be "that" guy, but all dwemer kinda died off long ago, ergo not lore-friendly.

Explination to satisfy your lore friendly needs: Dwemer died. These are hybrids between the nords and the dwemer. Unaffected by whatever calamity that occured to the Dwemer. So basically short bretons.

Dwemer (known as Dwarven) were not short. They were just called Dwarven.
And they did not die, they just disappeared. Yagrum bagarn is the last known Dwemer but it does not mean they ALL disappeared, just like the Snow Elves.

Who cares...Its a dwarf not dwemer its a made-up race he said so and intended to add to it but looks like he never got there. If the thought of un lore-friendly is so terrible don't use it go find another mod, there it's fixed simple...

I digress. During the Blackreach quest (or rather afterwards), when you exit Blackreach after finishing it, you find a book outside the exit, which tells a Dwemer story about a son who has been kidnapped by 3 Nords, and who tells his mother the story of his escape after rteturning home to her. He mentions how huge the Nord guys were compared to them (Dwemer). Also, there has to be a reason why they were called dwarves. I mean, dwarves are smaller than men, thats common knowledge. You cant call a race dwarves, when they are the same size as all the other big races. Makes no sense.

In Lore, Nords are the tallest humanoid race, which could be the explaination of what the book meant. In Morrowind you encounter Dwemer ghosts who are the same height as the player. This mod is Nords who are Dwarfs, not Dwemer anyway,

I thought the giants called them dwarves because the dwemer were shorter than the giants

Things to consider adding: Larger bodies (particularly thicker arms and legs, and bustier women), elaborate beards for men and long braided hairstyles for women.

So was I but for a different reason. I'm using console commands [including slowed attack speed] and Ordinator Witchmaster perks to make giants, but what I'm shopping around for is a mod for dwarven proportions so that they make large size seem more feasable.

I used commands to change my height to 1.2 and it is perfect now for the male at least. "player.setscale 1.2"

Is it possible for you to make them stockier? Like bigger bellies, arms, and legs? and head?

    Hmmm....
If you're going for the classical high fantasy dwarf (which is what im looking for), could i recommend bigger hands,, arms, bigger head and bigger broader shoulders?
    Dwarfs are short but broad.
I recommend you take a look at the "Dwarfs Race and Followers" on Oldrim's nexus. The dwarfs in that mod are very well made

      Seriously??
I cant understand why people are so exited for that ,,Dwarfs Race and Followers" mod.
The bodies are awful and the arms almost reach to the ground.
There are far better Dwarf mods on the Nexus than this one and believe me, I searched the whole nexus and other sites to find good Dwarf mods...
There are even good beards out there and I donĀ“t mean the popular ,,Dwemer Beards" mod.

Any way to give them longer beards and maybe a taller mohawk? not sure if anyone can do this, but I didn't see it in either vanilla skyrim, or this new special edition.

This would really put it all together for me and my dwarfy needs, oh and is there a way to add a little more bulk to the weight slider?

    Thanks for the great mod!
