First such report in over 3 years, so issue is on your end.

Your report contains no information, and your issue is unlikely to be related to this mod

Yup. Likely an issue with skeleton setup or physics.

What is the console command for increased height for ragdoll?...

For the love of god I refuse to edit an ini. My modlist is 800 mods deep, built from the ground up, cleaned with SSE edit and wyrebash....

Good concept but the implication is sad asf.

Add the MCM Menu patch so ur good to go, set like a 70/80% on Percentage thr. and 50/80 on Damage thr. , oh remember to set the method to Percent. AND Damage (measured with "gravity damage increasing" mods, so without them you should lower this values by some amount, possibly halving and more).

      MCM patch: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/72941?tab=description

I like the idea, but in practice - in addition to everything advertised - this just makes Whirlwind Sprint shout unusable anywhere but flat surface.

No. You just can't take fall damage at a place that you can slide off. There are no places in vanilla where you need to do this.

You don't need to use this shout in Vanilla at all besides 2 quests & several dungeons. I'm simply talking about my quick-travel experience in Eastmark & Reach. Maybe it's one of vanilla bugs, I don't know, and we aren't supposed to take damage this way. But with great velocity comes great fall damage.

fall damage in this game has nothing to do with velocity. it is purely a function of height between start and end of falling/ragdoll.

Because the mountains don't give back what they take. Oh no.

Mod seems to be conflicting with maxsu's Rolling After Landing (obviously?). Falling from high places don't give you damage but you still ragdoll, and if you try to roll it results into a hilarious animation of the character running forever towards the ground. https://gfycat.com/spotlesslightgrayling

Would be very cool if this can play nicely with Rolling After Landing. Successful landing results in rolls, while failed ones result in ragdolling.

I have the same problem, indeed these two mods could complement each other remarkably if the authors cooperate

I agree...making mountains dangerous makes the world feel large. I combine this with edited fall damage values from Gravity of Nirn.

Hello wSkeever, I encountered a mod conflict issue that might need patching.

    If using Poise mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/72653,
Your ragdolling adventures will be replaced by a knockback animation.
I tested this with a minimal load order on 1.5.97 SE with the following mods installed:
(Open animation replacer, poise 1.0.2 + requirements, Slip of slopes 0.5. + requirements)
And the issue is easily replicated by simple jumping off any high enough ledge.

Not something that can be fixed on this end. Sorry.

if you go to your instaled poise mod ➡ right click➡open in explorer➡ SKSE➡Plugins➡doble click in loki_Poise.ini AND set bPlayerRagdollReplacer to false, it will be fixed

No worries, thank you wSkeever for the quick reply.
And thnx Arkos9 for the potential fix, il test it out ingame later.
Edit: fix won't fix it on my end, but if it works on your end it might work for others.

The only downside is that there is no pain sound when falling.
