I really like this approach to the standing stones. I almost never remember to use any of their active effects, so they tend to feel kind of pointless.
I was reading through the list of effects, and there were a number of places where I got confused. I was wondering if you could add plus and minus symbols next to the values applied to each of the effects. It looks like there are both bonuses and balancing penalties in some of them, but I wasn't always sure which I was looking at. Like, would 30% stamina regen mean +30% stamina regen, -30%, or maybe even -70%?
Its all to do with wording take the ritual for example "50% less health regen, and restore health from healing spells potions and food"
It tells you that you have 50% LESS which is the equivalent to -50%. Anything that doesn't specify +/- should be considered a Bonus (+) and not a penalty (-)
I allway thought the stones where mostly useless being you can only pick one at a time. I gave another mod author that changed the look of the stones an ideal to change them completely to work with frost fall, vampires and werewolves to were you can use them over and over with small time limits but more than an amulet. So you get to actually use them like the stones in Witcher 3. We are modded obviously lol so power is in good supply but weakness like cold temps, sun damage if you are a vampire, extended revert werewolf form would be cool. Just an ideal for you.
Thanks. Serpent has always been kinda meh in my opinion, throughout TES. It's been difficult to make it interesting and fun. I've tried a lot different things already, and will probably continue to try new things.
Hey, thank your for this mod! :) I really like the Ritual Stone with +1 more Summons.
But will it works with Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim? With Conjuration 100, you can have 5 Minions, with a large pool of Magicka. So I can have 6 Minions with this mod?
at the begining of the game on the way to riverwood you getting to the 3 standings stones and have to select 1 of the stones but its not recognized by the game so hadvar/ralof just standing around.
The loading screen tip for the Lover stone is just "The Lover Stone ability lets you " which cracked me up a little when I saw it, but I'll guess it wasn't intended
With any mod it's always better to start a new game, but I've installed it multiple times in the early game and didn't experience any problems with it. If you already have a Standing Stone active it's probably best to switch to another stone and then switch back, if you want to keep the same stone with the new abilities.
May I suggest for the ritual stone, that it gets a summon duration bonus as well? +1 minion is cool, but it would be even better to add another 20 seconds or so to summon duration.
That's a fair point! Especially that stone, since it's available so easily from the start. This is why I haven't tried making a mod like this. I'm horrible at balancing.
