This mod works mostly fine (produces really amazing ash piles), except with the Dragonborn DLC. In Dragonborn DLC there are monsters called Ash Spawns. When I kill them, I am now getting really weird remains - ash piles that are half blue half gold (split 50/50, like some powerpoint pie chart).
Sorry I'm so late to reply on this, couldn't find the time to test it. I don't have this problem so it's probably something specific with your load order.
according to the notes section of Ash Pile Expiration SE [as of 10th of march 2021] it´s dependant on where you have "created" those ash piles. to be more specific: they should get removed at some point automatically (they seem to stay because the decay/despawn timer might get reset if you visit cells or areas containing ash piles in them too early, hence reseting their decay/despawn timer).
I've been away from modding Skyrim SE for a while but I've found your mods, they look very good, many of them are the best i've seen, so much detail and clarity to them so i'm quit eimpressed. I will get round to installing them at some point, once I have time to do so. Also in regards to this mod they look like the best ash piles i've seen to date, these look like they have a proper powdery/ashy texture I don't remember from 5 other mods I looked at in the past so keep up the good work on these.
Downloaded now as they look lovely. Just a quick one please: the vanilla size of these piles textures is 512kb, is it not? So even your 1K's should provide a significant visual upgrade already, yes?
Looks nice! Does it influence the vanilla ash piles from killed reanimated undead? I already have a mod for those you see, but I like yours as well, and I use Ordinator.
@Joacax, I can confirm this. They look incredible in-game! :o I love it. The ash pile in my screenshot is the aftermath from a Nord warrior my Necromancer follower reanimated.
You'll be remembered as the one that remastered Skyrim to it's very core! Your mods are now a must-have in my playthroughs, can't see Skyrim any other way.
Any plans in the future to do a mod for better Hair textures and/or Enchantment effects?
Great work! But you did forget to add: "Replaces Annoying Vanilla! More Bounce! Now with Bodyslide! New and Spectacular!" (With the super well endowed, near naked NPC posing next to them in the images - LOL!) - of course, the bounce and bodyslide may not be true, but when did that ever stop anyone?
Still, amazing what can be done even without all that! Thanks for all your work through the years - it is very much appreciated!

Good work, by the way.
