Folkvangr will not look as intended with ENBComplexGrass because the meshes don't have normal maps. I recommend not using complex grass
this mod was calibrated predominantly for ENB use, specifically for RUDY/Obsidian (my own variant). It's going to look different across setups, there's no way around this but to edit the textures yourselves if they're too bright or saturated
if you overwrite the included landscape textures with others, you're not gonna get the correct transitions from terrain to grass
this mod includes some worldspace edits that cause landscape seams. There's positives and negatives to including said edits, but if the seams are too much, you can remove worldspace edits in Xedit
Would it be possible to get a version without the landscape changes or additions so it's just the grass distributed in a vanilla fashion? Currently it creates quite a few conflicts, abrupt transitions and landscape seams when paired with certain mods. At least that was my experience. But the grass itself is amazing!!!
Currently I'm using Skyrim 2020 overwritten by Tamrelic Textures. No seams in my build at this point but as soon as I add in Folkvangr I get horrible seams mainly around the river and lake edges. Tried moving the plugin around in my load order but no joy in fixing this issue.
The grass itself is amazing.
Edit - Tried installing a version without any of the meshe or textures files installed and I'm still getting the seams with just the plugin installed and no files basicly. I'm not knowledgeable enough with mods to know how to fix this issue, but it's certainly this mods plugin casuing the staight line seams.
I've gone through the comment thread and can also see several other people mention this issue. Hope it gets fixed as the grass is amazing
What density did you have? Did you have grass cache with dyndolod? Did you use Grass FPS Booster? What were your grass draw distance and fade range settings? ._. I run this thing and ye it has a considerable amount of performance impact, but nothing I would worry about with my current settings.
i've tried multiple grass mods & this one is hands down, my favorite. oddly enough, it's actually the most performance friendly for me out of all the other popular grass mods out there. thank you for this awesome mod :)
I needed to recreate a gray alpha channel for some landscapes files, for example: fieldgrass02.dds and fieldgrass02_n.dds, because both textures were showing distortions in some scenarios. I imagine this is directly related to ENB, Complex Grass etc.
When this mod is used with (Tomato's Complex Parallax Material Landscapes AIO - With DLCs) I get some ground texture seams (not ground seam) is anyone else having the same issue?
I need a patch for tomtato's complex parallax material terrain. I've got ground textures that mismatches the surrounding terrain. I've tried deleting all all textures and meshes except the grass textures but still nothing. Does anyone know a solution or a patch?
One issue: I know this is made more for ENB, but I'm using Community Shaders and the grass looks too bright compared to other plants. It does look like it is receiving shadows fine, but it looks a bit glow-y next to other things. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I might make adjustments?
you should switch to ENB. its much better and if you do it right (Install a preset from Nexus too) then the grass will look okay.
Edit: I tried to use community shaders too, but it was way too finnicky to figure out. if you're skilled at modding then go for it but like I say, ENB is better looking and is easier to manage.
Idk i'd say enbs are way more complicated. I tried basically every single one and berserkyr was my fav. Now i use cs and nat 3 weather and it looks incredible and probably better ngl. Enbs have a million settings to tweak n s#*! but i havent had to do anything except mess with anti aliasing on cs.
I find that Folkvangr doesn't seem to overwrite or be overwritten itself by mods. so if you don't mind clipping models then you can add any other shrubbery mod you like.

I have Folkvangr load before TCPMT.

но из за этого образуются швы
Anyways is this compatible with,"Mountain flower by Mari SE" mode ?
If it is what should be the load order ?
Also, what thicket and shrub mods go well with this ? cannot wait to try them all!
