If you could improve the NewScotPine leaf textures, that would be great. They look very good now on the full model, but LOD is not good. I think the details are too fine grained on the branch textures. Fewer needles and slightly more granular may help. The way they are now, I think the detail just bleeds together into blobs on the LOD downsample.
Note that I created 3D trees under DynDOLOD 3, because this mod clashed with Myrkvior in terms of LOD. Changes to base trees do not translate in the LOD otherwise. This is how I know that the LOD textures need help (in this mod and in Myrkvior).
Sure. I will PM you the info. I'm currently regenerating to test if the blobby tree issues can be solved by disabling mipmaps for tree LOD, so will be able to grab some screens after.
One thing I would like to request is improved yellow aspen leaf textures that are available on the main mod page. I like the ones offered here but would love the option to use upscaled yellow textures also. Thank you for your hard work.
Please help me. I am currently using it in this order.
Myrkvior - The Flora Of Skyrim - Trees SSE
Myrkvior - TFoS Add-On - 3D Hybrid Trees SSE - DynDOLOD
Morekvior-Myrkvior Visual Enhancement
Morekvior-Myrkvior Visual Enhancement-DynDOLOD
I am using dyndolod 3.0. But there's a problem. When lod4 is set to level0, the tree in the distance becomes too bright. When lod4 is set to billboard4, it is normal. Why is that? What's the reason?
Hello, I am a big fan of the myrkvior series and I use the last lod dyndolod v3 and I would like to know if it was possible to have 4k/8k texture is it possible to use this mod Pine Branches Redone 8k https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45294 ? And a small question is the parallax working ? Because I don't have ENB installed yet.
Pine Branches Redone mod will change textures used for many (but not all) Myrkvior and Morekvior pine trees and is compatible. I can't speak to the parallax, since I cannot look at the meshes now. Parallax does not work with LOD trees though, just full.
Try using that mod to see if you like the result more or not, regardless.
Great Work men, im choosing to change somethings, but using this as base. I will share u my point of view :P, dont upscale normals with ai, they will introduce shimmering, actually im using the normal files from the original mod, and looks great. Another thing, if u can, try the Hi-Res Pines from SFO LE verion, u will find it in the old files section (Skyrim Flora Overhaul at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) u will love it :P. If u want i can share u all my "point of view", im only play in VR Great Work Again!
Thank you for this mod! It's appreciated. I just discovered Myrkivor: the Flora of Skyrim last night, and I'm so glad I did. This has replaced SFO for me, becoming my go-to now.
