Welcome to my WinkingSkeever Inn overhaul. Now go explore, there's a little more to see than shown in the images! The ESP have been cleaned with the SSEEdit auto clean feature and flagged as an ESL, so it doesn't count towards the ESP limit. Big kudos to DrMonops for the testing and patching.
Regarding an All in one file There’s no plans at the moment for a merged all in one file. With the exception of The Blue Palace and The College of Winterhold all of the interior files are ESL flagged so don't count towards your mod limit. Being modular, you can pick and choose the interiors as you like.
Please understand that the additional workload involved would most likely kill off this series. Any patches, updates, bugfixes would need to be redone.
So please enjoy the flexibility of modular files to pick and choose what you want and any compatibility patches Janquel makes. If you want an AIO you can merge them all yourself, there’s good tutorials on Youtube about how to do it, I recommend the one made by GamerPoets, but please be aware that you won't even gain an esp slot in the process.
We understand that VR doesn't have the benefit of ESL support, but that none of us have headsets to test with so we can't officially support VR. So unfortunately, end user merging will be necessary in that case. I hope this information helps.
- Added Bathtub down in the new basement where the old basement was, old basement is now to the other side where the bar is at. Added a new set of stair to facilitate navigation going up and down to the second floor from both sides of the Inn.
IMPORTANT
"The new basement and bath area make changes to the existing walls and we recommend to only update to 1.3.1 when you are ready to start a new save."
I have Lux, EVLaS, SMIM, and SFCO installed. I also install all Winking Skeever patches at JK's Interiors Patch Collection but I still can't get rid of this weird black floating things. I also place those patches at the bottom of my LO
Update: I'll try to re-install Lux - Patch Hub to see if it can fix this problem ==> Well damn, that fixed the problem.
I am using Panforable male npc mod and it adjusts the innkeeper corpilus, because of this he doesn't have the key. I'm using Vortex and cant adjust load order as it doesn't detect conflict and cant be rule managed. So no key, anyone know how I could fix this?
*UPDATE, there is a pandorable npc 3 patch collection that covers the issue I described above. Thanks!
I'm running into various issues at the Winking Skeever, and other places namely the Bannered Mare, Candlehearth Hall, and Riverwood, potentially more but I havent explored everywhere yet. At the 3 inns there are various area, like the 3rd level at the Winking Skeever, the Loft rental at the Bannered Mare, and the Basement at Candlehearth Hall, that have walls in the way that obviously arent supposed to be there because they are clipping into other walls and blocking the way forward. Also just about everywhere there are loads of food items that are just dumped all over the floor. I dont have any mods that edit these cells, what could I have done wrong?
Thanks for the quick response, I dont have any lighting mods, but I figured out the problem, turns out I did have something that edit the same cell, Houses Shops and Inns was making a mess of things and the patch for JK's Interiors doesn't seem to work. It wasn't really that necessary with all the interior mods anyway.
Hay I'm having a few problems with this mod everything is working fin and no performance issues but parts of the old winking skeever are floating in the new one. Thiers a pillar in the center of the room and part of the old sealing as well as a lantern and candle just floating. For the recod Iv already installed the patches and even tried running it through xedit
I'm using elfx with the shadows addon and have installed both the interiors patch as well as elfx shadows patch hub and ran them. didn't fix these problems. also this is a fresh save and Its the only one of JK's interior mods that I'm getting this with. I also don't have any other mods that edit the winking skeaver apart from sewers 4 and undeath but Iv already installed their patches
Did that it was elfx. Looked into it turns out elfx shadows dont have a patch for winking skeaver so I instaled the elfx patch form the interiors aio patch page and that did the trick. thanks for the help
I had the same issue- large one sided wall in the main entrance area and some floating candles on the 2nd floor. The ELFX patch in the JK's Interiors Patch Collection worked, even though it was flagged in the FOMOD saying it might not work properly. I thought I'd already installed that, but this post made quick work for me to go back to one place and double-check! Thanks for this!
I'm unsure why but after the latest game update I'm getting a CTD upon launch with this mod installed. None of the other JK interiors I have- have this problem.. Is anyone else experiencing this, does anyone have a fix?
Loft walls are missing. I have tried the SPO patch and still no dice everything else is fine its just the loft that has no walls there also looks what to be floating backpacks outside the invisible walls have not been able to find a successful fix any help or push in the right direction is appreciated.
First what comes to my mind - occlusion issues coming from altered room markers. This usually is caused by missing patches for your lighting mod - ELFX Enhancer/Hardcore / ELFX Shadows / Lux. Or the mod/patch installed on ongoing save.
Has anyone else ever experienced a CDT when entering the Inn? I get a black screen the music and all other sound affects continuing including voices but the game has crashed. It's really strange It doen't happen all the time. I have had this happen too in Dragonsreach.
No CTD for me, just script lag causing load screen to freeze game. I have a feeling it may be Death Consumes All. I will continue playing with it and try to recreate it.
i've been having the issue too, and i don't have the mod death consumes all, though the only other mods that i have that could be affecting the skeever are immersive npcs (which i need a patch for according to the bug reports), helgen reborn, and a follower mod i think?
UPDATE: got the patches and still crash when trying to enter the winking skeever. considering I don't have any other mods that change the interior in any way (as i have no clue if that follow even appears in that inn anyways) im thinking its the winking skeever itself, unless i have an unforeseen mod conflict Time to restart my game if i actually wanna do the Helgen Reborn storyline
Has anyone been able to fix the error? When I enter the skeever sometimes everything loads but then the game freezes. Sometimes the monitor stays black and I have to restart the PC.
Same here. Unsure how to grab logs without a CTD - it just stays as a black screen forever with the audio playing as normal. Had to uninstall the mod to fix
It is crashing for me aswell, it doesn't crash immediately for me however. I can walk around for awhile but it will end up crashing. Not sure if it's due to NPC limit as I have a fair few mod added followers in it. I'm running RDO and The Great City of Solitude aswell if those have anything to do with it Rob's Bug Fixes - TGC Solitude at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
Edit: Oh I believe it was that The Ordinary Women was conflicting with some of my other NPC replacers, if I got near an NPC affected by it a crash would occur.
It's not an issue directly related to JK's Winking Skeever, most probably the problem lies in the lighting mod patch/your hardware/SSE Engine Fixes setup. I just checked it on my testing profile with a bunch of mods affecting the area (almost all we've made patches for JK's Interiors Patch Collection), but without any lighting mods (except ELE) and everything works smoothly and without issues.
I'm having this problem too, same with Blue Palace. I haven't had this before with JK's unless it's another mod affecting it, I removed a recent overhaul and no change. Unless it's something to do with ENB somehow I can't say anything should be different. Besides the overhaul, the ENB is the only other thing changed that would affect the interior area that I can think of. Not sure.
So, I am getting the same with the Nolvus mod list, I am having the same black screen freeze upon entering the winking skeever as well. It doesn't produce a crash log as I have to go into task manager to stop the game and It doesn't happen the first time I enter the Inn, but when re-entering. I can now 90% recreate this crash by just walking around in solitude, then coming back and re-entering the Inn. This is with the default list with no modifications. I run an rtx 4070 with ryzen 7 7840hs. Honestly, it could just be the engine showing its age.
Hi! Love your mods! Can't play my game without them xD I'm having an issue with the loft (super cute BTW) When I use the door to get to my private balcony, I can't get back inside xD the option to 'open' the door is gone and I have to TCL it everytime
The vanilla Winking Skeever door used on the balconies has some bad collision which ends up being recessed in the wall and makes the open prompt inaccessible. We've included a fixed mesh from USSEP in the mod's .bsa, but it sounds like you have a loose door mesh reverting the change.
It sounds like you have another mod below this one that is overwriting the change to Corpulus Vinius and stopping the key being added to his inventory. You'll either need to patch it (drag the key into his inventory) or place this mod below your NPC mod so it is lower in your load order.
Thanks for this! The issue was with my male npc replacer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25450 that instructed to be placed as a late loader, so it was loaded after this. Everything is fixed now :D

It's linked in the description under compatibility.
Highly recommend reading descriptions of anything you install.
Thanks for this!
Any insight would be aswome.

edit: hmm, it's inconsistent. Maybe something about the Solitude area.
