I encountered some bugs with this mod dispite not using any other mod that could alter the DB questline. Here are my solutions to my problems. I told the guard about Astrid's death after killing Astrid, the guard gave me 200 septims but when the courier arrived the next day, he did not give me anything and simply left after initiating dialogue with me. I used the item id 20000D63 to spawn the letter and read it but the quest journal did not update and the npc was not spawned. I then use the npc id 20000D61 to spawn him and initiate conversation with him. The quest was running as intended after all that.
Is there an option to BBQ the nightmother? And possibly use magic to seel away sithis? And if not could someone do that please, just to tie up loose ends.
I'm having some strange issues with this mod...the courier gives me letters but I receive no letters regarding this mod, but the quest text says to meet him in Falkreath. When I go there though, he is nowhere to be found. Am I doing something wrong? I do have JKs Skyrim installed but if he is meant to be in Dead Man's Drink then this shouldn't affect him surely?
How do I actually get the passphrase from Cicero? I can't talk to him (he'll just say some generic phrase when I try) and when taking the "beating it out of him" literally he just goes down like other essential NPCs would and gets back up after some time (offering only some generic phrase afterwards again).
I was looking forward to this mod (thank you) but unfortunately, the quest isn’t progressing as expected (my fault). Details:
Quest Stage Issue: Even though I hadn't received any letter, I found myself at quest stage 25.
Mod Conflict: I realized that I had "At Your Own Pace - Dark Brotherhood" enabled concurrently. I believed I had disabled it via Vortex, but it was still active. I've since disabled it.
Load Order Changes: I've moved this mod to near the bottom of my load order.
Attempts to Resolve:
Tried spawning in DBDestroyLetter, but it doesn't seem to exist in my game.
The quest marker appears in front of a pillar in the tavern in Falkreath, but the NPC isn't spawning.
Used "setstage DBDestroy 28" in the console. While it accepted the command, the quest journal remained unchanged.
Question: I'm eager to play this quest in my current game/playthrough. Is there a way to fix this or is it possible that "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood" just won't work this time?
I was testing it, but due to another Mod not letting me interact with the Black Door, I can't answer. But I will get back to this and will let anyone know whenever I can go back and Test.
Edit: So I tested the Mods and they don't seem to play well together. I had Granny put in Jail, went to Aventus, told him, then had to go back to the other Woman in the Kidshome and finished the Innocent Quest. Then I cheated in the Letter from the Revengeance Mod (cause ain't have time to wait lol) went to Falkreath and found the location then, I had to move the Mod under the DB Destroy cause Maro was not there (like last time testing) after moving he was there and he gave me the mission to kill them all, did that and as Reward I got... nothing? xD
Then I loaded again after I got the mission from Maro, (switched the mods again so the other would win in LO) went in and killed everyone besides Astrid, she's not around, because basically in the Destroy DB she is already dead, so that's not working.Then I loaded before I cheated in the Message from Revengeance and tried to cheat in the message from the other Mod, but that didn't gave me a Quest cause, Astrid ain't dead I assum.

A bit of a shame. I used to join DB everytime, loved playing it in Oblivion when I was younger too, but joining a gang of murderers just doesn't sound cool to me anymore hahaha
So I wanted to do full good guy/gal, I guess similar to you maybe. Put the kid abuser in jail instead of listening to a crazy kid. Then wipe out the Dark Brotherhood, lawfully, and keep some of the stuff. I'm thinking I'll use Innoncence Lost - Quest Expansion and Dark Brotherhood Rising Revengeance - use console commands for items if it comes to that. Is that what you're sticking doing also?
