Doesn't work. The armors don't appear anywhere. Even by doing help "horse armor", they don't appear in the console.

    Only the saddles work.

"NOT FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH BETTER HORSES OR HORSES FOR FOLLOWERS"
does this mean it is compatible with Convenient Horses and/or Simple Horses ?
    thank you!
i see this mod has not been updated in a good couple of years, so nevermind. also forgot convenient horses already includes armor.

Wait, so it is or is not compatible with convenient horses? I know it (CH) already has armours, but do you think I could still use this one too?

It doesn't appear to be. I downloaded and installed it but the Stable master at Whiterun has the same CC dialogue and purchasing the armour does precisely nothing. It appears to add a new NPC but he has no dialogue, so all in all I'm assume it is not compatible.

You guys could try a mod called Simplistic Horses, a minimalist mod that has what you need bt none of the, let's be honest, stuff you would barely spend time on.

It doesn't seem compatible with SC horse replacer. Too bad because I've never seen a better horse replacer yet.

Great mod. endorsed. only wish there was an option for higher res horse armour. as it is something you will often stand very close to in first person when you get on the horse.

I believe it uses whatever armour textures you have installed. Try amidianborn Book of Silence (if you don't have it already) and the Frankly HD armours for a start, then see if it looks any better.

Uninstalling mods mid game can possibly always lead to issues, but if you make  a clean save, then use falrims to clean, you should be find..

For anyone have problems, just port the original yourself. I know almost nothing about Skyrim modding and was able to do it in 5 minutes. Use Cathedral Assets Optimizer for the meshes and textures and resave the esp in CK. Just tested out all of the horses in the mod after porting the original myself and had no problem with their appearance or with buying, stealing or riding them.

It really takes no time to do, and it's good to know in case you want to use other mods that haven't been ported. If you use MO2, then it couldn't be easier. If the mod has an esp, open the mod in creationkit and save it again. That's literally all. If the mod's got meshes, just get Cathedral Assets Optimizer, open the directory of the mod you're porting, click Run and you're done. For mods with scripts, there's some extra annoyance that I don't remember but this doesn't have scripts and if you want to port a mod that does, you can google what needs to be done with scripts, but I don't remember it being difficult. Another one-click or so solution. Really very easy. There are some mods that are more complicated and can't be ported that easily but the vast majority of them can be.

This should cost money... I feel like everyone should be forced to pay for something like this. Only horse armor, exactly specifically.
