    UPDATE November 2022

Thanks everyone for all the support for this mod - I hadn't realised how popular it would be! And huge kudos to JPSteel2 for porting this to SSE for me :)

Touching on the most commonly-posted topic: obviously there are a bunch of other popular mods that require patching, as anything that touches records to do with boat positions, navmeshing etc. will require patching.

HOWEVER. I do not plan on making any compatibility patches at this stage. With limited time available as it is, I am focusing on developing new content for the community - such as for Beyond Skyrim and the Ships and Boats of Tamriel collection.  I definitely have not 'abandoned' the community as some have claimed; I'm putting my time and effort into making new and better stuff for you all :D

If you would like a patching for your modlist, I'd strongly encourage you to download the CreationKit, look up a few tutorial videos, and give it a go! The kind of patching required is not hard, but it takes a little time and patience :)

    Hi JPSteel2,

Last year I posted a bug report on this message from DynDOLOD 3.

    File Not Found Meshes
Warning: File not found Meshes\nordships\shipnordrowboat.nif. Used by RealisticNordShips2.0.esp ShipRowBoatAnim010000 [MSTT:00089D2B]

Any possibility on a fix for this, or anyone else know of one?

    THANKS

does anyone know if this is functional with ai overhaul via patches? just curious since immersive citizens isn't compatible which is no problem but that mod moves objects. Posted about that last year.
AI overhaul seems to be very patched up with JK mods so just asking  thats a lie... immersive citizens is right there too

I stopped using AI overhaul awhile ago, but the easiest way to implement that in your load order without manually editing patches for 200 mods is to use Synthesis. It has an AI Overhaul module you can download in the interface and you run it on your entire LO. It will Patch everything for AI overhaul in about a minute. If you're not familiar with Synthesis you'll probably need to do some googling to get it set up. But it's very handy for patching all kinds of things.

yeah I stopped using AI overhauls a while back to.. I posted this like a couple months ago and just decided it just wasn't necessary. What you get in this mod far outweighs any ai overhaul mod.

Is it compatible with AI Overhaul?

Afaik, no, for some reason. It must make edits to Gjalund or other NPCs that references the ship meshes somehow. Someone might need to check this out with xedit and see if a patch is possible

I'll second that too, CTD on launch with both on.

      I did!

Make sure when installing the mod, you only install the optional patch for Skyrim Sewers if you're utilizing it. If not, Skyrim Sewers patch is not necessary.

      Cheers.

Not many people are experts at modding, sir. Let's keep the condescending comments to ourselves, ye?

That doesn't require skill at modding, it requires basic reading comprehension.

Again, many people, including myself, are not experts at modding. It takes time and experience to get "good." Ye, basic reading is required as does any othe function in life, and unless you've never made a single mistake in your life, I'd get off your high horse and humble down a little.

      Cheers.

You don't need to be an expert at modding, you just need to pay attention at what you're installing, you didn't, and it's okay. He didn't say you were an idiot, he said you didn't fully read what you were installing, and you don't need to get on your high horse as well. :p

At least it was an easy fix. Have fun ! c:

Was the newest version not possible to turn into an ESL? since the description still mentions as a feature "Plugin flagged as ESL"

not compatible with GKB Waves Reborn. The waves keep moving inside the deck.

Also Ships are a little bit sunk with using Water for ENB :)

Why the USSEP patch? The original didn't require any unofficial patch...

Thank you very much for the mod, the ship models are great.
But there are really not enough patches for Falskar and Rigmor from Cyrodiil.

Dammit. These look so good. But I can't use it until there are patches for the Great Cities, JK's and waves and AI Overhaul and Immersive Citizens, and probably many other mods.

I seem to have beds and certain things clipping through the sides of ships and I assume its because of some mods I have that replace such beds and barrels. Is there a current mod misc replacer or fix that works well with these ships so all items on those ships originally in vanilla like beds, barrels, and such are actually centered on those ships instead of floating and clipping in the air.

or is it just smim or something thats known that I dont know -_-

Edit: checking clutter overhauls with other mods to see if anything changes since I looked at previous comments with the same issues

I'm having the same issue maybe? The sleeping bags and bed rolls are half floating outside the ship, not sure how to fix it.

If things are clipping then there's another mod that needs patching - this could be a city overhaul, AI overhaul etc. - or something that references USSEP for example. Try putting this one really late on in your load order to see if it's the latter.
      Cheers

actually immersive citizens could explain everything.. I didn't even know that mod does any clutter things but it would explain a lot of things. I have mostly texture replacers and only 1 single AI overhaul. I also have USSEP but a very old edition for VR which might also be the cause but I really don't think it is. I even disabled all textures for barrels but SMIM but I still had no idea. Could be immersive citizens.

I am using immersive citizens as well so that might be the culprit.
