I adore the look this gives to Riften and have used it on every playthrough since I found it. In my opinion, nothing comes close to it. Does anyone happen to know if adding Blubbo's trees into the city would be compatible? TIA
Bonjour, Je voudrais savoir comment avoir le même riften que sur les photos, j'ai installer le mod mais il me manque les poutres au dessus du marché et les étales qu'il y a devant l'hydromellerie Roncenoir. Comment faire ? Quelqu'un peut m'aider ? Merci d'vance
Beautiful work. One thing I am often curious about, that is many times not made clear, is whether your meshes are provided due to having custom non-vanilla textures assigned or just because they have parallax enabled. Can you advise?
First things first, fantastic job with this. By far the best Riften textures I have found so far.
I have encountered one issue, I am curious if anyone else has seen... Using the 4k pack along with the fix, all the wood beam, board, and log textures are vibrating/shaking violently. I am seeing this happen even with all other texture mods disabled. for the sake of testing I moved the two to the very bottom of the load order with the fix after the 4k file, but that did not change anything. Disabling the fix did resolve this, but I am curious if anyone knows the reason it would be doing this or if it is specific to the 4k version.
Its all Riften files. Ive created a graphics overhaul for xbox called Skyrim of Tamriel that uses this for the cities and the only way i could stop flickering is by using textures only and removing the parallax textures. I hope this can be fixed soon. Id love to be able to update everything with the meshes for Riften too cause all these city overhauls are wonderful. Solitude flickers when using the Fantasy Exterior of College and Blue palace as well. I really do hope these flickers can be fixed.
An easy fix until it's patched (if possible) is opening the texture folder for the mod, and deleting every texture that ends with a "_p.dds". This deletes all the parallax textures, and ultimitately stopped the flickering from occuring.
Same with 2K. My LE backport had no issue and looked very nice. The SE CK had a float point warning and the meshes vibrated together and I couldn't make building edits as it would bug out. Makes sense it was parallax in textures folder. Thank you Battenburga. I'll try that.
Edit Didn't change much in my case. Rift interiors are my issue when in CK. I think for now I'll put it back as it is and just disable mod before opening CK.
I enjoy Mrf's Riften with no flickering at all. In fact I have no flickering at all in my game, and I use all Mrf's large cities, Mrf's College (Mrf's White-Gold Winterhold) and (since Mrf did not retexture Whiterun) Illustrious Whiterun.
I am a noob at modding, so the best I can do is giving you the list of the mods I use which may have an effect on flickering in Riften (according to my poor understanding, so feel free to ask if you think some mods are missing in my list - I am using 366 mods so I can not give them all here -).
