About this mod

A series of modular conflict resolution patches for compatibility between PoeticAnt44's Pride of Skyrim mods, Lizcer's AI Overhaul patches for Pride of Skyrim, Immersive Weapons, Cutting Room Floor, Expanded Skyrim Factions: Companions (Oldrim mod; bring your own port), and Thieves Guild Alternate Routes - Taking Care of Business.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
These patches are out of date for the current version of AI Overhaul and I think for PoeticAnt's mods as well because the esp names changed. Moreover, I now recommend that users patch their NPC appearance overhauls onto other edits, like the ones from Immersive Weapons, Cutting Room Floor, ESF Companions, and Thieves' Guild TCBM mods that I made these patches for originally, by using Easy NPC, which really lives up to its name.

And remember, kids: never let someone tell you to fix the so-called "black face bug" for an NPC by changing their weight or casting a spell! This bug is always and without exception the result of a mismatch between the facetint texture and facegeom mesh with winning priority in your asset load order, and the NPC record with winning priority in your plugin load order. You can always fix it by getting intimate with the contents of your data folder and maybe unpacking some BSAs.

Original mod description follows:

PoeticAnt44's NPC overhaul mods are the best thing to happen to the men of Skyrim in a long, long time. At this point, the vast majority of male Skyrim NPCs are covered by these overhauls, and I can't recommend them enough. To work, overhaul mods need to edit an NPC's character record directly. This means that PoeticAnt44's overhauls conflict with a very wide variety of other mods. I made this series of patches to resolve conflicts and obtained PoeticAnt44's permission to share them (thanks Ant!).

The patches presented here cover the following mods:
  • Immersive Weapons
  • Cutting Room Floor
  • Expanded Skyrim Factions: Companions (Oldrim mod; bring your own port)
  • Thieves Guild Alternate Routes - Taking Care of Business

I also patch conflicts between AI Overhaul and the mods listed above. I'm not releasing my own AI Overhaul patches because better ones are available; go to Lizcer's patch page and get her patches there. All of my AI Overhaul patch-patches are dependent on her patches.

If you only have AI Overhaul...
You don't need any of my patches -- download Lizcer's.

If you only have Immersive Weapons...
You only need my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Immersive Weapons patches."

If you only have Cutting Room Floor...
You only need my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Cutting Room Floor patches."

If you have AI Overhaul and Immersive Weapons...
You need Lizcer's patches AND my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Immersive Weapons patches" AND my "PA44 Companion Males + AI Overhaul + Immersive Weapons."

If you have AI Overhaul and Cutting Room Floor...
You need Lizcer's patches AND my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Cutting Room Floor patches" AND my "PA44 Companion Males + AI Overhaul + Cutting Room Floor."

If you have Immersive Weapons and Cutting Room Floor, but not AI Overhaul...
You need my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Immersive Weapons patches" AND my "PA44 Pride of Skyrim Cutting Room Floor patches" AND my "PA44 Companion Males + Cutting Room Floor + Immersive Weapons."

If you have ESF: Companions...
To be honest, I made this patch very much for myself, because this is an Oldrim mod without an official port. The file is "PA44 Companion Males + AI Overhaul + Immersive Weapons + ESF Companions." It requires Immersive Weapons and Lizcer's AI Overhaul patches. If someone really wants me to make a patch for ESF alone, just ask me.

If you have Taking Care of Business...
You only need my "PA44 Whiterun + TCBM."

Wait, what about Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul?
Yep, you do need a patch for that, and one is available on the CFTO page.

All patches are ESL-flagged.
