Good mod, using the english version alongside MrAws0m3's texture replacer. LOOT says the plugin has a version header of 0.85 , which is less than the game's minimum supported header version of 1.7. Not sure what this means practically, but the armor is wearable in game. However, when I interact with something that requires an animation like riding in the carriage outside whiterun or using enchanting/alchemy/smithing, the game will crash but only if i'm wearing this armor. Please update soon, as I have lots of problems with Immersive armors but would love to have some of them as reliable standalones like this one. Thanks! EDIT: It was a separate weapon that was causing CTD.
Hello, not that i care but i do not believe that you are allowed to upload thoses files, the meshes come from immersive armor and the permissions are restricted. for the textures, they come from amidianborn i'm not sure about the original mod that you re uploaded,he could also be in the wrong too but considering it includes textures but not meshes, the original uploader MrAws0m3 has probably permission for the texture, in this case you would need to ask amidianborn for the permission to upload textures too. And ask the creator of immersive armor for the permission to upload mesh, if you do not get the permission, the meshes shall be removed from the archive, same for the textures... ^^
In short, you are free to use thoses meshes and textures how you want , but not to upload them. So you could make a guide about how to do it , instead of giving the files. ( renaming the textures) until you get the permission from the authors.
Meshes: This design of the Vvardenfell Glass Armor comes from THusky's Morrowind Armor Compilation, which has open resources use. The source armor is from Bingles' Glass Splinter Armor, which also has open resources use ("Do whatever you want with this. If you took my ideas and meshes and made a better version, I'd be flattered"). The mesh shouldn't be an issue.
Textures: This one's a bit trickier. CaBaL does prefer you ask. However, the source mod that the modified textures were ported from already had permissions to use said textures. The file here is an unmodified(?) version of that. Last time I talked to someone on staff about situations similar to this, I was told at the time that generally LE and SSE are considered the same game for the purposes of the "conversion permission".
In terms of what is and isn't allowed, I think, but don't quote me on this, the only thing Makmaksim needs to worry about is the aMidianborn portion of the textures, because they aren't the author of the original mod that gained the permissions for their use? Definitely would be something good to get staff to weigh in on. It's straddling a line or two.
oops i was wrong about the armor mesh, i'm dumb, i looked at Vvardenfell Glass Retexture (Immersive Armors) instead of the this mod, which needed the immersive armor, i apologize, especially when it's noted in the front page of the mod. So ye, mesh is fine. thank feles
for the texture, the permissions are either given gobally for everybody or per person individually with "proof" needed if asked by staff, when it's individual, only the said dude can publish a mod with this permission, on SSE or LE. so ye.... it seems to be a no
